It's my daily streaming service. I use it for researching trips, updates on sports, watching some news and other interesting subscriptions.

I watch Youtube all the time and I will never pay for premium. Firefox + Ublock Origin blocks all of the ads so no need to pay for a service like Premium. I watch a large assortment of creators and I love discovering documentaries that are better produced than stuff made for TV.

I watch an occasional music video, and have found it helpful sometimes for fixing things or technical issues. DH has a channel for his scuba videos. He used a youtube video recently when he spilled coffee on his laptop and it wouldn't turn on (he was able to take the back off and dry it out after watching the video). Would not pay for premium youtube, although we recently subscribed to youtube TV but that is a completely different animal.

I watch YouTube every day. Actually every night. I follow lots of people, some Disney vlogs like Mammoth Club and TPM vids, a few true crime vlogs, a few vlogs that make fun of bad movies and such, etc. I think I follow about 25 vlogs all told. I have a private playlist that I add videos I want to watch to, and then I watch them at night on my TV. I have never posted a video, and I don't have Premium. The ad breaks are fine with me-you can skip most of them after a few seconds.

I watch quite a bit of YouTube. Mostly Disney stuff and informative/documentary type stuff.
Often I will search for videos on how to fix/do something.
Fixed my dryer thanks to YouTube. My husband was impressed. LOL.
Also YouTube helped me get my phone to sync to my van.
Thanks YouTube!!

I highly recommend upgrading to premium during election season to reduce the number of repetitive political ads. We just did it this month and it was been worth it.

YouTube regular here. It always amazes me what you can learn on YouTube. I had shut off the pilot to my 1958 Okeefe & Merritt gas stove. I re-lit the pilot but it would not turn on. Let's check YouTube - yup. There was a hidden button I did not know about. I pressed it for 5 seconds, stove works good as new. I've fixed my clothes washer and dryer the same way - probably extended the life of each by 10 years and never paid for a repair man.

I do watch You Tube but do not pay for premium.
I do subscribe to a few channels.
My daughter has a you tube channel that is doing very well (mostly shopping hauls). Sometimes I will do a video with her. She paid for my Disney trip last year & last month.

Yes, I watch YouTube quite a bit, - "how to" videos, Harry Potter and Disney fan content (often when I'm walking on the treadmill or doing dishes), the occasional yoga video.

I subscribe to some free channels, but don't have premium.

I used to post videos. - During the pandemic, I made a channel specifically to read books to the little ones in my life (cousins' and friends' kids).

I wanna say 40% of my daily watching *whatever* comes from youtube, as some of it is better than what comes on actual television.

I watch quite a bit of YouTube, mostly just for mindless time passing, but I refuse to pay for premium.
They have also messed with some of the add blockers.
I was fine with the short adds on occasion, but they keep making them longer and longer to the point where I am ready to walk away.
In addition from what Ive heard they are giving less and less to the creators so better to just support them directly by buying product or some such to support them.
BTW - the fee for premium is too high - they would sell a lot more at say 4.99. Its more than many premium move channels.

Ublock Origin still works for Youtube. I get 0 ads.

I watch UTube almost exclusively, I actually can't remember the last time I watched something on TV other than SEC football. I do not have premium. I subscribe to a lot of channels - a few Disney mostly Allears. Some packing/travel (I'm addicted to those). Some RV utubers. Some home restoration. Some reactors to music. Two music channels - Voiceplay and Geoff Castellucci. I'm a patreon on both those. Then some random ones that occasionally catch my eye and I go down rabbit holes with them.
