Hair type is something we all have in common, because we all have one, but then again we don’t have it in common, because we all have different hair types. So, let’s talk hair this morning…..

According to the picture below, what type of hair type do you have?

For Me……My hair is Wavy 2A.
Sometimes I let it air dry to show that slight waviness, but 95% of the time I dry it with a hairdryer & brush, and then use a straightener to get my hair to look the way I want.

I put 2B, but I feel like different parts of my head vary between 2A-3A. If I airdry my hair, one side is much wavier/curlier than the other... and even if I straighten it, that part likes to curl at the slightest hint of humidity. It's rather frustrating!

I’m Coily 4A; youngest son is 1; DGD is Curly 3A or 3B, which is just to say you really need to know what you are doing to make everyone look presentable.

Leaning towards curly 3b until it gets long - then it get just bed head looking some parts straight some not - my hair has natural curl but doesn’t always want to show it - when it’s humid thou it shows big time !! I just let it do its own thing and just roll with it because no matter what I do it does what it wants to do !!!

2A. I have a slight wave if I let my hair air dryer. I use a blow dryer every day.

My hair is weird and dries differently on different days - 2b, 3a...it simply cannot make up its mind. (Oddly, it was a 1 when I was a kid.)

If you had asked me on the phone, I'd tell you that I have poker straight, baby fine hair.

I've learned to love it. I hated it when I couldn't wear the Farrah Fawcett hair in the 70s and 80s, even with a perm. Perms made my hair frizz, but with lots of Aquanet, I could glue it in a place that I deemed acceptable.

My hair is 2A with a very slight wave.

I have straight medium brown hair that is also very fine. It does absorb water like a sponge. Grateful to God for healthy hair.

Pin-straight and I hate it. Even with rollers or heat tools it will barely bend, let alone curl and I’ve always envied those with lovely, feminine, bouncy waves and curls. In the 90’s I was a perm person but I do t know if they even exist anymore.

Curly 3C. I do the Curly Girl method and only use conditioner on my hair--only gets shampooed when I get my hair cut.

I wet it down in the morning and use gel -- air dry.

I'm between a 3B and a 3C. It all depends on humidity and my hair length at the time. The more humidity, the more my hair curls. The longer my hair is, the more the weight of my hair reduces the tightness of said curls.

Curly. Probably 3b. Seems like it’s never quite the same day to day and even parts of my hair are different at the same time.

Straight baby fine hair - I wash it every night right before I go to bed - sleep on it wet. I don’t even own a hair dryer. If I get it wet during the day (swimming or extra shower etc) - it dries in less than 5 minutes all on its own.

It's very fine baby hair and incredibly dry from swimming.

I guess 2C? Left to air dry, it's just fuzzy. I use a blow dryer and curling iron to get it to lie flat and style somewhat, like in my picture to the left!
