My fellow Americans…..today’s the day to go vote, so if you haven’t voted, and you’re registered, please vote today.
Voting is a formal expression of opinion, or choice made by an individual or body of individuals. What I am wondering today, regardless what country you live in, is how often do you vote when there’s an election? I’m talking about all elections, not just for leading the entire country. By me, we have elections for town Council, clerk, treasurer and for other town officials. Some people live in a city where you have to vote for a mayor. The list goes on and on for who we vote for in elections. So share with us today…….
Are you a registered voter?
If yes…… what is your percentage of voting since you became a registered voter?
(multiple-choice)
*I want to be clear…… this poll is not a place for people to bash those that say they don’t vote or vote very little. People have their own personal reasons on why they vote 100% of the time or why they don’t vote at all. Everyone has their own free will to do what they want. If you don’t like someone’s answer, then keep it to yourself and move on. I pride myself with keeping these polls fun, lighthearted and informational. Us Americans have heard enough toxicness this entire campaign process, so let’s not make this poll toxic - thank you!
For Me……I registered to vote when I was 18 and I honestly don’t think I have ever missed a single election. Town elections have always been very important to me, because my MIL used to be the assistant clerk treasurer to our town, so anyone voted in would be her new boss. My husband also used to be a volunteer firefighter for our town, so voting for certain town council members to stay on was very important for the fire department. My husband was also on the Waterboard, and keeping certain town council people in their position was always important in regards to that as well. I feel very strongly about voting, and I look forward to going iand casting my ballot today.
