Haven’t eaten it since I was a kid. I liked it then, as an occasional treat, always freshly spun, on the little paper cone. Definitely a novelty due to its texture, and fun to eat. Doesn’t really appeal to me now though, too sweet.

I don't mind it, but if I'm going to spend money and calories, cotton candy would never be my first choice. And after a bite or two I don't think I'd want more than that. I feel like I would get it sometimes as a kid at the roller skating rink. It's been probably decades since having any.

It's not really my favorite thing as far as sweet treats go, so it's really just an "it's edible" opinion when it comes to standard consumption. On the flipside, I think it makes for a really fun accent or twist element if it's freshly spun and added to something just before serving. For example, I had this cotton candy martini on a cruise. My girls had something similar involving a lemonade at a place we visited in Denver a few years ago.

I don’t like it and never have. It’s a big mouthful of disappointment. It looks pretty but doesn’t taste like anything and disappears as soon as it touches your tongue. I would much rather have almost any other kind of sweets.

I liked it as a kid, but that has been a minute. Don't think I'd have it now, if I'm going to consume that much sugar I'd prefer some ice cream, cake, pie, etc.

Liked it as a kid but don't really care about it now nor would I eat pure sugar like that. Yick. Maybe would have a bite if it was on a dessert or cocktail.

I can not even remember the last time I had cotton candy. There is a machine at a mall that makes it it various colors and designs while you watch. I almost bought some just to watch it.

I love it, can't remember the last time I had it though. It's hard to find the fresh spun kind. Fun fact, back when I was a pre-teen and lived in Ohio we had a Strawberry Festival. They liked to recruit at the schools for free labor. You got school credit for working the stands. So a friend and I volunteered and one of the stands I worked at was the cotton candy stand. I got pretty good at swirling it after a while but boy when I got home I was a sticky mess. I also worked a couple of booths in front of some of the attractions.

I like it, but only the non flavored, normal cotton candy. We rented a big cotton candy machine for my DD graduation party and it was super popular. (We also rented a dunk tank but that’s another story lol)

Yeah, as a joke I suggested renting a bounce house for DD's 16th birthday party. She loved the idea. The bounce house rental company threw in a cotton candy machine for free. That was 17 years ago and I think we FINALLY threw out the partially used carton of cotton candy sugar a few years ago. Never was into cotton candy, or caramel apples. Both messy and disappointing.
