Do you have an electric blanket?
If yes, how often do you use it?
(multiple choice)
For Me…..I do not - it would make me way to hot.
My DH has one and he loves it and uses it every night Jan - April.
We have a king size bed, so I bought him a twin size blanket so it’s on his side only.
I don’t and have never had one. I don’t like to be hot when I sleep. Now when we watch tv at night in our family room I would think it may be nice. I’d probably worry about fire or something knowing my personality lol
Skivvies, under a light blanket, with a large floor fan going, and it's about 60° at it's warmest in the bedroom (wish it was a bit colder, but that's 66° out in the living room.) An electric blanket would be useless to me, LOL.
I have one, but it is in a closet somewhere. It really seems as if I do need to use it, would get way too hot. I used to use it a lot when I had a bed to myself.
I don't have an electric blanket but I do sleep with several regular blankets and a quilt in the winter. I love a cold bedroom but to be very warm under blankets.
The kids gave me a heated throw blanket for Christmas. I’m usually cold in our living room during the winter, so that was a very thoughtful gift. I haven’t used it yet, but will soon. We used to have a heated mattress pad on our bed, which had dual controls. That was nice!
We own one, but I have never used it on the bed, or at night...not sure I've ever used it. ha!. However, I find myself cold during the day in my little work at home nook, and I'm thinking I might try it out there, during the day, draped over legs.
I should get one as I’m always cold and go to bed like I’m going into the Arctic tundra - knowing my luck my dog would discover it and hog it all for himself as all that fur isn’t enough to keep him warm !!
I don’t anymore. I’ve had a few over the years but I must pick duds because they all have died pretty quickly. Now I just layer on the regular blankets
We don’t have an electric blanket but we do have a heated mattress pad. It has two temperature zones. I turn mine on 4 while I’m getting ready for bed, then turn it off when I actually go to bed. It takes the chill out of the sheets. DH sleeps with his on 8 or 9 all night!
My grandmother had one when we lived in Ohio, but she didn’t bring it when the family moved to Florida. I usually just need a sheet and a regular blanket on the very coldest nights.
