Do you have any ceramic knives?
If yes….how many and how often do you use them?
(multiple choice)

For Me……I have 3 ceramic knives - 2 large and 1 small.
These knives are my favorite knives and I use them all the time.

We have 1. But we gravitate to other preferred traditional knives more than the ceramic.

I have a couple, but never use them. Actually, I may have gotten rid of them. Now I need to look lol!

I have a few small ones and use them daily - more for other things than food - opening things up like plastic sealed items etc
I have some really nice knives I bought a hundred years ago to cook with and now that I’m old I don’t want to cook any more - I’m so done with cooking !! 🤣🤣

FYI - they are really sharp - great for opening mail too - you can get small ones for like $1

I don't have any ceramic knives, no. No preference one way or the other, just the way it is.

Do you mean a ceramic cutting surface? The picture the OP posted looks like a ceramic handle with the typical steel blades. Have seen some knives advertised with a ceramic blade. Always wondered if those are any good. All cutting surfaces will wear down from use and not sure if you can resharpen a ceramic blade.

I have all Wustof knives. I love them and keep them very sharp. The thing I love about them is if they are damaged, Wustof will replace them.

The investment made 30 years ago is the last time I've invested in knives. Recently, a paring knife broke in half at the blade. I returned it to them and they sent me a credit. I was able to purchase 2 new paring knives from its website to replace the one that I broke. I selected the replacements from the sale portion of the site.

I tried the ceramic knives, but they broke. I prefer steel, especially those made in Germany by Zwilling. I have two that I have had for several years and have never had to sharpen them.
