Three dogs. Dexter is 16 and lives with my parents after I moved out three years ago (I wanted to take him, but at his age it was better to not make him go through a move and I still visit just about every day). Leota is 2 and Rosita is 4 months old.

Right now we just have Jingle, a hamster. Santa brought her as the 6yo's Christmas present. We lost our first ham, Mia (Mia HAMMster) in November, so this seemed like a good idea for a replacement.

We had 2 cats, Potter and Weasley, who were brothers. We lost Potter when he was 17 and Weasley when he was 20. We debated getting more cats, and while I'd love to, I cannot stand the thought of one more living creature under my roof; DD, her husband, and his son moved in with us in March 2022 and my house is FULL!!! I'm not sure we'll get another cat, though, once they move out and it's just DH and me again. We, too, like to travel and even if it's just for a long weekend, we'd have to board/find a cat sitter. There is also the concern that if we get kittens or a young cat, they'd outlive us.

Currently pet-free, after losing our very affectionate 19-year-old boy cat last year. Will adopt another one or two in time.
