One. My aunt has one of those old-fashioned wicker hampers in her room. The rest of us use tall plastic laundry baskets with handles. I keep mine in my closet.

Other. We have hamper bags that hang in the closet. They are space saving along with I don't have to waste time separating loads.

It’s currently full of clean clothes from the last time I did laundry and my dirty clothes are on the floor around it LOL

4 actual “hampers” (not fancy wicker ones, though, mostly just the foldable things) - there are 3 of us, and we each have one, plus there’s one in the bathroom. Then there is a small basket upstairs to separate things that don’t get dried, and a basket in the laundry room for things like kitchen towels, sweatshirts left around the house, etc.

We have a wicker hamper in the master bedroom that everyone is supposed to throw their dirty clothes into daily. Oldest DD never quite got the hang of that so she did her own laundry for the last few years before she went to college. I take those clothes from the hamper downstairs to the laundry room daily and sort it into one of those wheeled carts with hanging bag type things. I have 2–one has 2 bags which I use for dog laundry/cleaning rags and towels. The other one has three compartments which I use for whites, lights and darks.

Family of 5–I do laundry daily.

How many laundry hampers do you have in your house?

None. We just use laundry baskets, one in each bedroom. That would be 3 (well, I have 2 in my room because we had a leftover one when daughter moved out). Everyone is responsible for their own laundry.

We use a wooden chest at the end of our bed, which also serves as a bench when needed.

We have 4. One in our ensuite, one in each of our kids rooms and one in the laundry room.

We keep two in the laundry room. Whoever is doing laundry uses one of those two to take clean clothes back to their room and fold it. Then they put it back. We do that because we don’t wash all of our clothes at one time so our baskets in our bedrooms aren’t empty to transfer clothes.

We have 6. One for each of u(3) except DS has 2 hampers. He has a woven one and when he played lacrosse, I bought a plastic one just for the workout clothes. We have one in the laundry room for towels or whatever can wait for a load.

I voted None. When my kids lived at home, I had a hamper in my bathroom and one in the hall bath. Filled up quickly. They are gone now, I'm an empty nester and now I just take my dirty clothes to the laundry room as I take them off.
