If you have no socks on, and it’s time to leave the home, do you put both socks on and then both shoes, or do you put your sock & shoe on one foot and then your sock & shoe on the other foot?

For Me…..I put both sock & shoe on one foot and then the other foot, and it’s always right foot first.

I put my socks on in the bedroom and then I put my shoes on right before I leave the house.

I too put my socks on in the bedroom in the winter and walk around the house with just socks.

Right now I put the socks on first while sitting on the steps than shoes to go for my walk.

I live in a seasonal climate going to hate putting socks and jeans on again all the time.. It’s been humid here for October.

For the record - I hate shoes - having broken my feet 4 times - every toe except Big Toe at least once you would think I would wear shoes - nope I don’t like to - my feet scream they are in prison !! I won’t even wear a boot or cast when I’ve broken my foot.
So when it starts to get snow or ice I HAVE to wear shoes - take it from me - flip flops don’t do well on ice - found that out one morning taking the dog out - in my defense I didn’t know there was a light glaze of ice - broken tail bone for that one - switched to Ugh slippers

Socks first - left foot first - both feet socks
Then shoes - again left first - if shoes need to be tied - I tie then put on next shoe
Funny I’m right handed but in almost all things do left first !

Thank you for the great flashback to a very funny episode of All In The Family . . .

I wear Crocs around the house, so I grab a pair of socks, and my shoes, and sit down to make the transition. Sock, then shoe, then sock and the other shoe. They come off the same way. I remove a shoe, then the sock, and put the Croc on, then remove the other shoe and sock, and put the other Croc on.

Socks first, then shoes-although it's still pretty warm here so I've been wearing my summer sneakers. I don't wear socks with them. In the winter I wear socks all the time with my slippers. Because I'm sexy that way.

I don't wear socks with shoes unless it's really cold, mostly I wear sandals and slip on shoes that I don't need socks with. I live in Georgia so thankfully it's not real cold that long. If it's real cold I will wear socks around the house (hate slippers or house shoes) and will slip my outside slide on sandals on with them if I need to take the dog out. I put the socks on first then the shoes on the rare occasion I'm barefoot and am going to wear socks with my shoes.

Sometimes I put both socks on before the shoes and other times I put on the sock and shoe of 1 foot and then the sock and shoe of the other. I always start with the right foot no matter which way.
