Do you marinade chicken?
Do you then grill it or bake it?
(multiple choice)

*If you have a moment, please post your marinade recipe.

For Me…..I don’t marinade very often, because I don’t think to defrost my chicken early enough to do this. I did defrost some chicken last night so I can put it in a marinade today for it to be grilled for dinner tonight (gonna have the corn on the cob from yesterday‘s poll with it).
Here‘s the marinade I’m making/using…..

I don’t marinate chicken, other than sprinkling a spice/herb blend over it before it goes in the oven. I marinate steaks in Italian salad dressing (the extra bold and spicy variety).

I never marinate our chicken. My husband is very picky and salt and pepper is about as adventurous as he gets. I tried it once with just using Italian salad dressing and he didn’t care for it. We eat so much chicken at home. Plus we rarely go out to eat anyway, so I never order chicken at a restaurant.

When we have chicken we almost always marinate it in something. I prefer grilling it, but have also baked it when the weather is bad. (I hate touching raw chicken so marinating it is easier than breading it!)

I do marinate my chicken—mostly before grilling and sometimes before baking or cooking in a skillet when I make fajitas. I will also eat it out or if someone else is cooking, but mostly at home. We eat a lot of chicken.

I like the taste and will marinate chicken breasts if I think of it in time, especially for grilling.

I usually just use whatever salad dressing I have on hand.

I don't marinade often, same as you, I forget to defrost. I do use the following recipe when making chicken for tacos or other mexican type dishes:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 cloves garlic:minced
1 tbsp. lime juice
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 teaspon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
Place chicken in a ziploc bag and coat with olive oil. Then add all other ingredients. Move it around in the bag to coat evenly and let sit in fridge for at least 30 minutes. Then grill.

I usually marinate chicken breasts before grilling. Though it also often means I have some charred areas on the outside of the breasts, which I don’t mind but others do!

Nope don't do it and don't particularly need it, but I won't not order it if it's at a restaurant. I usually either grill or stir fry my chicken. I eat chicken about 3 times a week.

I marinate grilled chicken with whatever herbs I have in my garden. EVOO, lemon juice, salt, pepper, fresh thyme, fresh basil, fresh oregano, fresh garlic…30 mins to an hour in the fridge, let come to room temp before I throw on the Traegar.

I prefer to dry marinade chicken with spice blends rather than use a wet marinade. I always grill it.

I wet marinade steaks.

I only marinate when grilling, when oven baking I'll do some kind of dry coating with spices. Usually use some kind of Italian dressing.

Marie marinates chicken sometimes, depends on what she is making. My son, Vince, a really great firefighter/paramed/chef, marinates chicken almost always I think. Always excellent. He's usually the cook on his shifts at the firehouse.
