Do you do outside/outdoors spring cleaning?
If yes….what do you clean or pickup?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..Yes - I’m a big spring cleaner outside (I started yesterday)
My normal list of chores: Scrub 3 decks (one in the front, two in the back), wash all outside furniture (1 set in the front, several on pool deck, several on back deck), clean windows, pick up all the leaves and sticks stuck in the rocks by the house and fence - so much work. I don’t power wash the house every year, but I’m thinking about doing that sometime this summer. The pool also needs to be cleaned, but that’s on my DH’s chore list - the only thing I do with the pool is float in it.

Yes - spruce up the yard - always a chore - remove dead plants / trees - put new ones in
Wash out air conditioner units
Wash front porch railings and garage doors / front door and all that jazz - so much pollen and bird 💩
Start killing all those wasp nest ! Pesky little devils !
Daily cleaning back deck of pollen and grass to not drag into house when potty dog !
Wash outside furniture every few days remove pollen and bird 💩
I’ll be glad when pollen season is over !! Seems really bad this year !!

wash the outside windows.
The pool is cleaned weekly by a hired helper. The yard is done every other week by hired help.
If the ducks come  We do need to scrub the walks around the pool.

Yes! Just did some this weekend (cut back some plants that needed it and prepping beds for mulching.)

I was just thinking in the car after dropping off my dd at school I need to clean the patio furniture and power wash the deck. For some reason I love power washing. I find it so satisfying.

I voted for clean the pool but we do that all year. What we do, though, is break out all the pool toys, floats, etc. we've put in the shed during the winter. We clean those off, reinflate, etc.

Our small yard is completely paving stones. I sweep up and vacuum the winter accumulation of pine needles/cones and hose it. I prepare the beds for spring planting, clean the bbq cover, clean the steps and benches and clean the glass patio door. All that happens after the Victoria Day weekend because we can still get snow anytime until then.

We don't have a formalized list of things to do. Usually the deck furniture is washed before putting it away in the fall. We peruse the yard for sticks and such, but that's ongoing as our house is surrounded by trees and DH does the mowing. We also rake out the gardens and stuff. This summer we should wash the siding, but I can use the washing stuff I bought LAST summer to wash the siding but didn't get to. Same with powerwashing (and re-sealing) the deck. We aren't very organized around here, I guess.

Yes, we do a big power wash of our entire porch (2 levels on the back, and completely wrap around the entire house) and that usually takes us a weekend.

The lawn service does the spring cleanup. They will also power wash the deck and house when needed.

I clean the front and back windows, pull the weeds out of our decorative...I don't know what you call it. It's a rock enclosure where we have bunches of artificial flowers (NOT my doing.) I also prune the shrubs. Our neighbor and his son are kind enough to mow our front lawn and the yard grass. Right now the yard is in bad shape because we're getting ready to have the screened-in room attached to the garage knocked down. Once that happens, the backyard will be done.

I pick up sticks, which is A LOT when your house is surrounded by trees. I also clean the windows but I can do that from inside the house since they’re tilt in.

I selected other because I hire someone to do it. In Florida, we have issues with mold and mildew on roofs, so I have to get the roof pressure washed once a year. I simply have them do the whole house, driveway, deck, etc. There is no way I would go up on the roof!

Yes. I started Spring cleaning months ago because it get hot here fast and I hate working in the heat and humdiity. But this year, fell a little behind. I do A LOT of power washing. Thankfully we put in new driveways and walkway a couple of years ago and that's looking good. Just finished the back patio and all the surrounding stone work. We have retention walls and stone work throughout back yard and it all has to been cleaned. The house also has to be power washed. All the windows have to be cleaned. Outside I use windex sprayer thing on end of a hose. Inside is all done by hand and I also washed all the screens. Takes a long time, I have over 30 windows. Furniture gets cleaned and so does the pool house. We're almost done.

I clean the windows, power wash the house, patio and walkways, pick up sticks, rake out flowerbeds and the fence line, wash the patio furniture and this spring I restrained two wooden benches.

We do some general yard clean up. Our outdoor furniture is covered in tarps for the winter. It gets uncovered, washed/rinsed down and moved back into place. Covers come off the air conditioners (don’t have central air). Glass in front storm door is switched out with a screen. Patio pavers and parts of the house siding get power washed when necessary. We also plant a garden with tomatoes and other vegetables. Most of this is usually done around Memorial Day weekend. Windows are cleaned year round when needed, from the inside.

I checked yes. However, the majority of spring cleanup is done by our landscape service. But we do have many, many past years behind us of doing it ourselves.

We do a yard clean up and refresh the mulch in the beds. And I just power washed and sealed our deck and patio.

Our lawn service does the yard spring cleaning, they just did it while we were on vacation.

pretty much it is limited to picking up sticks and leaves.... and of course dragging out the lawn furniture.

Spring and summer the outside pretty much doesn't need any attention. Fall, when all the leaves from our NEIGHBORS trees end up in our yard (all our trees are evergreens) is when the outside needs attention.
We do have outdoor furniture, all acrylic. I think the last time we cleaned it was the last time we used it, probably 15 years ago. The table was also acrylic and fell over and shattered, so the chairs have sat stacked on the patio since then.
