As some of you know, I had some foot surgery done last Friday, so I’m staying off my feet a lot now. Yesterday I decided to watch the first part of season 5 of Stranger Things. I’m not going to get into if I liked it or not, but I will say that it was very obvious that these high school students are very grown men, and 11 is very much a grown woman Way to much time was left between season 4 & 5 - just sayin…..

Anyway, as I’m sitting there, binge watching the first 4 episodes in season 5, I started to wonder how many of you have watched some or all of Stranger Things on Netflix. But before we find that out, here’s some Stranger Things info for those that don’t know what it’s about…..




If you have watched seasons 1-4 and need a recap before watching season 5, since it’s been 3 years since season 4, then I suggest looking some up on YouTube - this is what I did. I used to rewatch the seasons when a new one came out, but I had no interest in doing that now. Netflix has a recap too, but it’s kinda short and you can find it at the beginning of season 5.

So now it’s time to find out who’s watched or watching Stranger Things. Time to go to your Upside Down answer today……

For Me……As I mentioned above, I have watched all of Stranger Things on Netflix. I used to really enjoy this show, especially seasons 1-3. I’m indifferent about how I feel about the first part of season 5, that I watched yesterday. Truth be told….i really didn’t want to watch it, because it’s been so long since season 4. But, since I watched everything before (more than once, so I could refresh my memory before a new season), I’m committed to finish off the series. I probably won’t watch the rest until January (maybe New Years Day).

We have watched the first four seasons of Stranger Things. We really enjoyed the first 2 seasons. But by the time it got to the 4th season it became less interesting. We don't plan to watch the 5th season.

I will watch season 5, just not a high priority, so I haven't started it yet.

First, we don't have Netflix so no I haven't watched it but even if we did, I probably wouldn't watch it. Sometimes we go weeks without even turning on our TV. Lately it is usually on just on Saturdays to watch UGA football.

I watched part of Season 1 and never ended up finishing it. At some point, I will probably binge watch it. I don't know why I never finished the first season - just moved on to other stuff and didn't go back to it.

Ah yes, in a world where a lot of digital “progress” has actually made things worse, binge-watching is one of life’s little pleasures. Enjoy!

I’m not a Stranger Things devotee though. I started the first season with great anticipation but I don’t remember if I even got through it.

I think we started to watch the very first episode of season 1 and I'm not sure we got all the way through it. And then never returned to it. So I put that no, I haven't watched it. And, no real desire to watch it either.

DS and I watched the early ones together, then once the seasons were spread out, caught up separately.

I am currently on episode 3 of season 5. I'm watching when I walk on the treadmill because it make me walk longer!

I still stand by the opinion that Stranger Things should've ended after season 1. It declined in quality each season afterwards. This show has been going on for so long that I stopped caring a long time ago IMO.

We got tickets last week for the final episode in theaters. They are pretty much all sold out here already.

Yeah. I should have said we’ll start our binge on the first. The reality is, we probably won’t finish the season til Valentine’s Day. lol.
