I’ve always heard of dragonfruit, and lately I’m seeing it more and more - I even saw it a Sam’s Club last week. I have no clue what to do with it and I know no one that has bought dragonfruit.
So I ask you…..

Do you eat Dragonfruit?
Do you buy it for home or do you eat it in a restaurant?
Does someone else you know buy dragonfruit?
(multiple choice)

*I left out an option for those of us (me included) that never tried it. I blame me not having enough coffee yet - LOL! Please vote “other”

*If you have a recipe that uses dragonfruit, please post it - thank you

For Me…..As I was saying before, I’ve never ate dragonfruit and I know nothing about it. I learned a lot from the plantains poll, so hopefully this poll will be as equally educational :thumbsup2

I have had it as it was given to me in a gift of fruit. It didn’t leave a big enough impression on me for me to buy it.

I’ve heard of it I’ve seen it I’ve never ate it can’t say I’m gonna run out and try it if someone had it I’d probably try it other than that probably not

I buy it and eat it at restaurants. I find it a little bland but its does make a fruit bowl pop, I think it’s really pretty. I prefer the red/purple to the white. The resort I stayed at in DR had it out with breakfast buffet and found it to have little more flavor than what I get here.

I always wondered what that was!

I’ve been buying it for years but only use it as a garnish. :lovestruc It’s absolutely beautiful; so unique and eye-catching with it’s bright pink skin and snowy white flesh flecked with black seeds. I can’t say the taste is anything to write home about though.

I don't get it regularly or anything, but I have had it and like it very much actually.

My kids used to occasionally have challenges in school as part of a health unit to try fruits and vegetables that were new to them. We have always eaten a lot of different things so dragon fruit was one of the things we tried. Wasn’t awful, but nothing I’d probably buy again. That was how I discovered that I love pomegranates though.

I know what it is and have seen it in a store but have never eaten it. I learned on the TV show “Chopped” that it doesn’t have much flavor.
