Slinky Dog Dash Seat

My guess is since it has a ride height requirement of 38" it's designed for kids so probably a tight fit for adults of any size. Most likely in the "Leg room" portion, not so much in width or lap bar distance. They know parents will be riding with their small kids so I wouldn't worry about it.

from the pictures that I've seen, it's similar to the Slinky Dog ride in Paris, which was comfortable enough for adults and kids

If it's like Big Thunder then that's great. I was really hoping it wouldn't be like the Mine Train!

Better for riding "large person next to small person" would be the dual/individual lap bars like Exp. Everest.
That does require that only two guests can ride per row, but
each guest can adjust the bar to her/his own size.

So, I looked at some pictures of a maquette and some POV shots as well. It looks to me like the restraints will be individual lap bars with the support on the outside only, similar to the ones on Toy Story Mania. Each rider will be able to pull the bar down to their level, but you will not have to fit your knees between two support bars like on EE or 7DMT. I could not tell if the seat was a bench or if there were bucket-seats for each person.

I also looked at pics from the Disneyland Paris Slinky Dog ride. That ride is actually very different than the one HS is getting. It is just a train that goes in a circle on a wavy track. The seating on it does appear similar to BTTMR. The benches are wider and there is one lap bar. It does not appear that SDD will be like that.

Even Everest type seating would be OK. It's just that darn Mine Train. Besides squeezing my legs, it can be difficult to get into a comfortable position for my foot if I'm carrying a backpack. I broke my ankle a few years ago and it still gives me problems. Mine Train has been the only ride to give me ankle issues.

I understand one of the larger DIS Unplugged people decided to skip it at the media event because of the seat size.
