I did the slimming world diet years ago & no it's all changed since, anyone done it recently :confused3

I lost about 2 stone on the new Slimming World, at first I found it really easy, but lately I've really struggled with willpower (chocolate and peanut butter cups)!

The new slimming world still has red day/green day, but they introduced Extra Easy which is what I did. You still get a number of syns per day, and then you have a portion healthy extra a (dairy) and healthy extra b (mostly wheat/bread). Each day you are supposed to eat mostly 'superfree food' - greens, most fruit and veg, 'free foods' - pasta and proteins mostly.

I am feeling a bit inspired to give it another go now - just in time for summer!

I lost 2.5 stone on slimming world last year and loved it, I have managed to maintain my loss too. I loved the flexibility it allowed, having a whole list of free foods to play with, I did find myself cooking a lot more but actually really enjoyed it.
I found whatever my favourite meals were there was a slimming world way to eat them so I never felt deprived and I felt so much better for eating like that too

Many thanks for the replays :worship:

I've decided that I'm going to definitely try it again then after Easter :thumbsup2

The new books are stupid £££££ on Ebay & Amazon though. Amazons quote for the 2014 food directory, free foods & syn was £43 :(:(

Well done on all the weight loss :thumbsup2

I just do the Extra Easy but if you understand the Red/Green and it worked for you before I would give it another try. Good luck!

I am a SW fan, lost 2.5 stone so far with only 7lbs to go to my target, you never have to be hungry that is the beauty.:goodvibes

It's 2 stone 3 years ago still kept it off but only because I still go each week to be checked up on ( very weak willed) .But it's now a way of life still have hiccups but just get back on it .Good luck if you do go with it I'm sure you'll do well:banana:
