Slightly OT, Venting.... Stressful experience in Disneyland park!

OMG my heart was in my mouth reading your post aussietravellers .

It really is my worst nightmare, losing DD at DLRP (or anywhere, come to that). She's really good at keeping hold of my hand, but it certainly wouldn't do any harm to follow the precautions others have mentioned here .

I'm so glad it all worked out in the end, and you all got back into enjoying the Magic.

oh my god i had tears in my eyes then and i dont even have kids just imagine the terror you must have gone through i bet every minute felt like hours atleast all is ok now

OMG i'm so sorry you all had to go through that, I was feeling sick reading that and crying, I can't imagine what you felt, what a nightmare.

I'm so so glad it had a happy ending and that you're all ok. Poor little boy

Oh my god that is horrendous, you would really think they would have (DLPR)a set pattern to follow, cause it must happen fairly frequently.
How dare they suggest you go back to your hotel...as if

I have lost my Youngest a few times and it is really horrendous, they know if they are lost in a shop I would never leave that shop without them , no matter what anyone says !! and always go to a lady on the till. But outdoors it must have been so scarey for him.

You were certainly not a mad women, I know you are trying to stay calm but in the back of my head is the feeling "ok now do panic and scream "
