Slightly disappointed in flight of passage

I know I am in a vast minority here but I was disappointed in FoP. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing I disliked about it, but it was just another Sim ride. I never felt the immersion of being on a banshee. If I'm riding on banshee, shouldn't I see its head or something? I felt like I was riding a flying motorcycle following a banshee around. Throw a spaceship in and I'm on Star Tours, or Soarin' or flying through the streets of Agrabah on a magic carpet in Philharmagic.

I'd much rather ride EE since FoP will be drawing the crowd for the foreseeable future.

I've only seen a video of the ride and wondered the same thing. I thought they could have included the back of the banshee head for a more immersive experience. Then again, I haven't ridden it yet (and plan to). I do like sim rides, though.

I'm more surprised Disney spent all that money on Pandora instead of focusing on Star Wars since the new batch of movies that have come out and still slated for release.

I feel the same about Pandora, yes it is impressive and well done, but is not for me, I watched the movie and never thought it will get their own land, I rather see Disney build another land with more potential, and from their many successful movies, yes the movie make millions but also did the titanic and no land was build for it

Titanic has had plenty of replica ships built tho.

You realize they're able to do both at the same time since, ya know, they're doing both right now?

I know, but I thought they would focus on Star Wars first. I believe it has more fans and more place for them to go.

Again. It's not a bad ride. Just my expectations were higher. And I hate that. One of the things I love about Disney is it's uniqueness. Peter Pan isn't an exciting ride, but it's the only place I can ride it. Yes, FoP is unique in itself, but it just feels like another Sim.

Another thing I did not like was from the time I entered with my FP to the time I hit the exit door was about 40 minutes. Very slow process. In the line past the FP entrance, was quite a wait. CMs constantly looking for single riders and parties of 2. Then the pre ride show and all. Excitement turned to "what is going on or taking so long"

Well atleast u got the FP. I wasn't even able to get a FP with two upcoming on site stays. Crazy...
Re thinking it all... may just put it off till mid late sept or early oct..

Enjoy the 4th everyone!

I've ridden it twice, waited 2:10 and 1:50 and thought both waits were well worth it,for me to say that means the ride has to be pretty good.Waited 1:05 for the Na'vi river ride and I won't ride it again unless its under 30 minutes.FoP is a simulator, but its also the most immersive one I've ridden.I don't think putting the head of a banshee in front of you is making the ride better,it will just make it awkward. Its a good simulator, its 2017 and that's the best technology we have today for making you fly through an alien world.I was never a fan of Avatar,I thought Pandora at AK would be a glow in the dark jungle in an alien planet, which is essentially what it is,but after experiencing it all my conclusion was that Disney did a very good job with it,and its beautiful. Its got an excellent E-ticket ride,a nice complementary boat ride,a nice place to eat,and the place is stunning.I'm still more in awe of the Potter areas at Universal, but Disney did a "swell" job with the Pandora addition. As soon as I can get in again with my silver AP on August 11th I'll go back and wait another two hours for it with no problem.

Well, ain't a ride on property that suits everyone. This one isn't for you. Don't ride again. Problem solved, no?
We'll take all your rides, no problem. We think it's the best ride I've ever done, any theme park in the country.
But, by no means does that mean everyone has to like it.
You don't "get it'. There are other rides I don't get, and others do. Beauty of Disney, there are lots of choices
