Slightly Different DVC AP question

We have been pass holders for a few years now and are in the process of purchasing DVC. When I renew my AP in May, will I pay the first time DVC AP price or the DVC AP renewal price?

As long as you do it in person and show your DVC card, you can use the DVC renewal rate. The other option might be to do it via the DVC web site.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping that's how it works and I figured there had to be others who have done it before me. I will be renewing in person during our May trip.

Yes, at the parks or Downtown Disney. Note, if all you are doing is buying a new AP and not renewing, you can also do that at the resorts but you cannot do any renewals at the resorts.
