Slide and pool closures at the moment

we are here at the moment, just to forewarn anybody arriving in the immediate future, one of the slides is down until 12th May (not the one you go down in tubes, the other one) and unfortunately the guys doing the construction work on it spilt sand bags into the main big swimming pool so it’s closed right now while they filter all the sand out - they don’t know how long it will take but it’s been closed since at least Tuesday

When you say tubes - do you mean the slide where two people sit on a raft or the slide that is a dark tube?

Just trying to confirm which is closed so I can manage kiddo expectations as we arrive on the 10th...

Don’t worry, it’s only one of the pools (although the biggest one) but there is still a ton of things to do.

Just an update to say that the Waikolohe Pool re-opened this evening. The slide is still closed but the pool re-opening is great timing for our last day tomorrow.
