I have a really pretty black dress that happens to be sleeveless, can I wear this to the MDR? It's a midi handkerchief hem dress, would that be appropriate for Semi Formal? I know I can't wear it to Palo or Remy? I assume not even when I do the dessert menu at Remy. For the app tour of Palo on the first day, do we need to dress up? And yes I know, we have no idea what will and wont be happening next year - but I can only plan based on what used to be until the cruise gets closer, and right now I'm planning what expansions I need to make to my wardrobe.

A dress like that would be fine in the main dining rooms, Palo, and Remy. The dress requirements for all venues explicitly permit dresses with no qualifiers about sleeves. I agree that you may want a shawl for comfort, but you should not feel at all out of place with a pretty dress that happens to be sleeveless.

I wore a dress like that to Palo (dressy, spaghetti straps). It's perfect. But bring a sweater because it might be cold in there.

For MDR, I rarely dress up more than nice jeans and a cute top. And a sweater just in case.

That is a beautiful dress for the evening and Palo. And yes bring along something warm in case it is too chilly in the dining rooms. Just be sure it doesn't have oversize sleeves/fringe that could drag in your dinner plate.

Almost all of my formal dresses are sleeveless. I have been hot and cold in the MDR's. It can all depend on the night, the food and the wine :) Cool dress!!!!

They do mention no "tank tops" but I think they mean they don't want those low arm hole hairy armpit showing tanks some men wear. In all my 45 cruises I have never seen DCL make a fuss over a woman in a sleeveless top/dress.

The guy in the picture looks like they just told him "Sir, I'm afraid one isn't wearing the proper attire for Enchanted Garden... Perhaps Monsieur would be more comfortable at Cabanas."

Sounds lovely. Go for it, you will be fine. As others have stated, the dinning rooms may be chilly for some, so you may want a shawl. I wear sleeves, sundresses throughout my cruises to all the different dining rooms. No issue.

Just off the dream. I found the dining rooms to be warm, not chilly at all.
