The material contained forthwith is supery-dupery classified. . .so says the Princess. We know agents of CHAOS abound, but due to our cover as a "normal" family, we're certain our mission went unnoticed on Day 1.

Day 2:First, a question. Who did away with the Disney bedtime stories on the TV? What cruel hoax has been perpetrated on resort patrons by sinister forces? Princess was okay with the continuing loop of the same few oldtimer's cartoons but sorely missed the bedtime stories she had loved in trips, er, missions, gone by.

On the trail of the elusive pixie dust and the mark of MM, we headed over to Disney-MGM to take advantage of the Extra Mission Hour. Remarkably, we waited less than three minutes for our bus going and not at all on the ride back later that afternoon. Crack timing or the pixie dust? You decide. We split up upon entering the park (the singing bag inspector at the entrance was terribly suspicious, by the by): Doc and Princess headed to A Bug's Life and Star Tours while I beelined to RNRC and TOT.
8:03 - in line at RNRC
8:15 - awaiting next limo (got in last one)
8:16 - blastoff! No special communiques did I find, so I decided to go for another spin
8:35 - awaiting next limo (got in first one)
8:36 - blastoff! Again, no secret communiques found, but I did determine that the last limo is the choice for optimum thrills--something those CHAOS agents know nothing about.

With the line at TOT already beyond 20 minutes, I decided to join my team at ST. They had experienced some kind of force there, thought they had it with them at one point, in fact. But, we were no closer to locating the pixie. And, much like the day before at AK, it was freakin' hot. CHAOS was not playing fair--imagine that.

We spent the rest of the morning traipsing from one end of the park to the next:
- Ariel's Dim Lagoon
- Backlot Tour (where someone tried to drown us in a flood!)
- Playhouse Disney (with agents named JoJo, Pooh, Stanley, and Bear?)
- Lights! Motor! Action! - the wait nearly suffocated us
as the bad guys held us in a tunnel for over 20
minutes with no air circulation beyond the wheezing and grunting of too many parents hanging onto kids; of course, they say this is a stunt show (wink, wink), but we figured out they were actually trying to kidnap us--we got away!
- Beauty and the Beast - And here pixie eluded us. No
contact with 4 for a Dollar--they had mysteriously opted out of performing on Monday (and Sunday) nights. Hmmmmmmm. . .
- Personnel - We managed to make surreptitious contact with our allies Green Samurai Power Ranger, Kim Possible, and Ron Stoppable. They weren't much help.

Dazed, hot, and confused, we wound up back in our room around 1400. A quick retreat to the quiet pool was quite what we queeded, er, needed. Determined to make some progress on finding MM and pixie, we drove back to D-MGM for dinner at the super agent hangout, the Brown Derby. The meal was superb (reviews available in separate mission report), but no contact made. However, we were given a coded pass through the "Alley" that was a top secret pathway to the gathering of CHAOS agents: FANTASMIC! We had a few moments to kill, so we strolled down "autograph" avenue and no one was about. . .except a line to see MM inside. Only, I knew it wasn't the real MM, though he was dressed in the sorcerer's outfit. How do I know this? He was nice. He didn't speak. And he kissed Princess' Minnie doll (she carried the doll as part of her disguise). We got a pic just in case, though.

Oh, yeah, the "show" was great by the way. We went incognito, of course; I easily passed as a dad. Snort!

Within moments of the start of the conference, we saw MM! He tried to look all cute and cuddly and smarmy, but I saw right through his disguise. Sure enough, he conjured up all the villains from past CHAOS adventures, only to make it look like he conquered them at the end. Uh-huh. And Don Smart and Agent 99 aren't real, either.

As we quickly walked toward our spy SUV after the show (I had to carry Princess on my shoulders as she had been mesmerized by the spectacle), we realized that the pixie and MM might be intertwined in some manner. We weren't certain exactly how, but we were lost in thought on the matter on our short drive back to the suite.

Princess and Doc were soon asleep, so I wandered down to RF in search of a late night snack. It was peaceful with a quiet bustling energy, and it relaxed me. Was it possible I was coming under the spell of eeveel forces? Did my Danger Dial need to be adjusted? I mean, I was actually beginning to enjoy this mission. Perhaps another day would bring answers. For this day, we had learned that the crowds were omnipresent, the heat was oppressive, but that with good planning, you could still accomplish much. I fell asleep knowing we had much left to explore in the days ahead. . .

Sounds like a very nice day--lot's of walking, but very nice :)

Thanks for posting.
