Sleeping with DIS Unplugged playing in the Background

I Just thought I would post this, I dont know whether or not anyone else does this......

When falling asleep at night, I've tried a couple of times with the normal radio stations and struggled to fall asleep but when I plugg my Ipod into my Stero, and I hear the guys talk, I'm asleep within minutes, so I've been told. But I dont know why, maybe its the interferace with the radio, but there you go.

Maybe its just that the guys have soft voices...

I've run to it, but not slept. Although a long run I sometimes slip into zombie mode and forget things.

Lol your such an antagonist. I think it is a complement that someone finds the podcast relaxing and soothing. It brings her to that happy place and sleep comes easily. It has nothing to do with content or value. Kudos to the crew for making people happy and realxed!

I do play podcasts in the background to fall asleep to. However the Dis-Unplugged is one that doesn't work for me, I'm always too interested in what they are saying or laughing!

It's now off my night play list and re-scheduled to a more active part of my day.

I tried it once- but it doesn't work for me.
I was giggling too much that I couldn't fall asleep and kept DH awake too!

I do fall asleep with my ipod on though. I can listen to attraction ride throughs (Horizons is my favorite!) or quiet park background music.

I listen to the dis podcast in bed. I set the iPod alarm timer to 15 or 30 minutes, depending on how tired I am. If it goes all the way to the end of the podcast, then the darn jangly music wakes me up and I get rather angry!

How many posts till this turns to listening to Teresas voice in bed? There is a late night radio show in my area where this lady Delilah sp? doles out loev advice and plays lovesong requests. Teresa could be a fill in.

As I hit the button I am praying this is taken in a funny, lighthearted way and not the icky way.

I have been sleeping with the podcast crew for years!!!

I listen to podcasts at night and fall asleep to them as well. Sometimes it takes a week to get through one episode! But only talking. I can not listen to ones with music in the background or when voicmails are played because sometimes it gets louder!! On occassion I will wake up and then can not fall back asleep because I get into it!

I remember one morning I woke up and was telling my husband and son about this crazy dream I had about sharks. Come to find out, I listened to Pete's Sea World episode from a couple years ago LOL!!!

That is how i fall asleep. I put my ipod on and play the podcast and set my timer for 30 mins Sometimes when it gets really funny I have to add time

I also find it a great way to fall asleep however I usually just put on ear bud in and not both.
We have younger kids and my wife sleeps like a rock so I am usually the one to hear them if they ever call.

I usually last about 10 minutes before I am out. I think it might be because we are comfortable listening to the info being put into our ears/minds as we relax???

I enjoy it.
