Sleeping Beauty Castle Walk-through

I know that the Sleeping Beauty castle walk-through has been closed for some years now, but i recently heard that they might open it back up to the public again?
Has anyone else heard this rumor?

No. As far as I know it is closed as a walk through permanently due to ADA requirements.

I believe I read this rumor quite some time ago in one of Al Lutz' columns over on MiceAge. Haven't heard anything recently though. Sure wish they would reopen it.

it was actually closed post 9/11 due to security concerns. no exit strategy.

I don't think it will open again but it is sad as it was a neat attraction. I heard it was a post 9-11 security issue that ended the fun.

I really did like the walk through, although when i heard I was overhearing a castmember saying it. What a bummer

I read that as well on Al Lutz page and I too wish it would open.

Some (if not all) of the pieces have been removed. If you look in some of the store windows, you'll see them there.

I really wish they would bring back this attractions! My youngest daughter is 9 and barely remembers it, but we have it on film so at least we have that. PLEASE PLEASE bring back the Sleeping Beauty's Castle walk through!
