Hi there. Couple of questions for those that have stayed here before. I went online and could book a room for the night I need. But if I want to have the free parking, then do I need to call the hotel and try and get a "Park N Fly" package, instead of booking a room on-line? And their website says availability is limited.

Does this hotel have an indoor pool? Looks like just a Jacuzzi. :confused3

How does the shuttle service work? Do you arrange for it the night before, and upon returning to Buffalo, do they run shuttles regularly or do you have to call them to request a pick up? What do you tip these shuttle drivers for a family of 4?

Finally ... if I can't get this hotel, any other suggestions? I used the website that others have posted on previous threads to find available hotels, and Holiday Inn Express didn't come up. Only about 4 hotels came up when I put in my date. If anyone has specific hotels they've stayed at with free parking, please let me know.

Thanks in advance! I kinda forgot about getting this hotel booked. I need it for Friday Dec. 8th.

I can only answer the first part(because I just did it).
You have to call to book the Park-sleep-fly option

You must call direct (toll free number) for the park and fly rate. I can answer the pool and other questions when I get back next month.

I'm staying there tonight. I'll report back sometime this weekend.

Hi maryliz!

I can answer all of your questions for you as we've stayed there twice this year (the last time was our trip a few weeks ago). We love the Sleep Inn and will use it for each trip we book out of Buffalo.

Yes you just call the toll free number and you can book straight from the hotel.

No the hotel doesn't have a pool....only a hot tub. We've never used it as we usually go shopping the day we check in. :woohoo:

When you check in the front desk asks you what time you would like the shuttle for the next day and you just show up in the lobby at your time. Before retiring for the night you are asked to go to the front desk and tell them you are finished with your car and they will ask you to follow the shuttle to a parking area across from the hotel (parking in front of the hotel is limited and just for guests that are not park'n fly)You then park and hop into the shuttle to go back to hotel for the night.

Also when you fly back you will notice (just in front of the baggage claim) a set of phones which say "hotel phones"...(people may need a hotel on their return etc.) Just pick up the phone and press the screen to find the Sleep Inn ...press the number on the screen and tell them you are requesting a pick up to take you back to your park n fly parking spot. They will be there in less than 5 minutes and take you directly back to the spot your car is parked at.After you call just go outside the doors in front of you and just to the right you will see a "bus type shelter" which says hotel pickups. Just stay there and watch for The Sleep Inn van.We tip anywhere between 3 and 5 dollars.

They also start serving a very nice breaksfast at 4:30 AM! :)

I'm sure you won't have any problems booking the hotel.Happy planning! :sunny:

I LOVE my DisBoard friends! I was telling DH this morning that I put a thread on the boards, and that I'd probably have all of my answers today. :thumbsup2 Thanks SO much for all of the info. It's greatly appreciated.

Hi Maryliz, I just got off the phone with Lindsay at the hotel. I had to confirm my ressie. I asked her if they had a pool she said no, just a 24 hr spa. She said there rate for 1 wk is $89, and 2 wks is $99.

Hope that helps!

Thanks ... I'm calling them this afternoon. :goodvibes

Just got off the phone with Lindsay at the hotel ... I'm all set! I told her that she had been talking earlier to one of my friends, Marilynn. :thumbsup2 She remembered you!

One more thing to cross off my list! Thanks again, everyone! :wave2:

I talked to Lindasy a couple of months ago! She answered all my questions about the Park & Fly rate -- we're staying there on the night of Dec. 29 before we fly home to Walt Disney World.

Thanks for all the answers . I am calling tomorrow to book the park and fly for Dec 3. When is eveyrone else going??????????

My DH and I are thinking of staying there for the night also, how does the rate compare with the park n fly at the airport etc.???

could someone PM me the phone #, my BstF just came back from a week in FL and parking for a week + 1 day was $61 USD, I am gone for 14 days exactly, so in the range of $100, might as well get a room and breakfast before my 6 am flight.

Found it booked for 12/03

Thanks so much for the reminder that driving two hours before a 6 am flight is maybe not the best way to get a vacation started.

How much did it cost?????????? I am booking tonight.

$99.00 14 nights parking - I talked with Brent(?)

We also got a great rate for 3 weeks park 'n fly......$109.00! :thumbsup2

Hi, just got back! Wow, was it crazy there today shopping with all those wacky Black Friday shoppers. The fog was so dense last night and nothing was open to have dinner except Denny's around the corner from the Sleep Inn. It's a nice clean hotel. My friend and I didn't get much sleep we were at Target at 5:45am this morning! I'm beat! We did most of the chain stores. My best bargain was a Samsung Camcorder for $179 at Target! Almost everything that was advertised was SOLD OUT, right away.
The Sleep Inn starts serving breakfast at 4:30am. There was a very good selection. They even do hot baked cookies at night.
We went to cross at the Lewiston Bridge and it looked to be backed up at least an hour, so we drove back to Rainbow bridge. There was no line at all. We claimed $450 each and they only put on my form when having to pay duty that I spent $186, so I paid $19 in Duty. My friend paid $34 in duty for $573. It was a great trip!
Now on to our mini Vegas Trip next weekend! I got a really cheap rate of $83 including taxes at the Vegas Hilton for the Sat, and $54 for the Sunday night!

Marilynn

Wow, great Vegas rates. Would you mind me asking what web site you found these prices.
