OK. A question. During HHN someone has beaten, slapped to a scareactor, for fear, a reflection, nothing intentional. what happened then?

Those situations are handled by security and, as such, are private. I am sure that each situation would be looked at individually but hitting someone even unintentionally could be considered assault.

If you think you would be hitting a scareactor, I would suggest not attending HHN.

I would make sure that you keep your hands to yourself. Last year, we were in Guest Relations and saw a man who was being held for the police. His wife was crying and freaking out...he had evidently done something, and Universal wasn't playing around or listening to her pleas. I was glad to see it, as I think a hard line needs to be taken to discourage any sort of physical assaults.

I got hit at HHN last year during our RIP tour by one of the scarers in the house. We were walking through the psychoscarepy house (I think it was this one but will have to check with DH) and one of the scarers was swinging around a fake rat and would swing it at you when you walked by to fake like she was going to hit you with it and I think we both moved to the same spot at the same time and she unintentionally whacked me. We both just looked at each other and she immediately started apologizing to me, I said it was fine don't worry about it and kept on going. It did leave a mark on my arm but it never even crossed my mind to hit her or anything like that. It's all fun and games until someone gets hit with a rat and then according to my husband it is freaking hilarious .

This was one of my favorite houses last year and I was able to see it withthe lights on during the UTH tour and get a bunch of pics.

Hey did anyone notice that the Santa at the end of this house wasn't wearing pants?

I would think they have some sort of clear cover or something that goes over the blade so they won't hurt anyone.

My sister knew people that either they or their kids worked our local park's (Kennywood) Phantom Fright Nights. They were specifically told that they may be hit by the guests as a normal reaction so don't get too close to them.

Kennywood's parking lot is on the other side of a four lane road and instead of a bridge there is a wide tunnel under the road which is a natural place for someone to jump out at you.

I would think they have some sort of clear cover or something that goes over the blade so they won't hurt anyone.

Any chain saw that goes anywhere near a guest is going to have its chain removed so it can't cut anyone. You could still get wacked by the bar so I guess they just stand back.

Leatherface got me good last year I was walking in the congo line,but the group got split up..You got too picture me,I'm 5'9 nearly 220lbs with a hat on with shades on top of my hat cause its dark..

Well I turned around too see what was going on behind me,when I turned around he was right in my face.Naturaly I freaked out,my hat sunglasses went flying and my hands went up I donn't know if I hit him or not.I was more mad at the people behind me stepping on my glasses then anything else.But I made it out alive and so did my Oakleys!!!

He was a big man and just laughed at me!!I'll never forget it

Only time I have ever made body contact with any of them was last year when the clowns had to actually help me out of the house. They had to take my hand and guide me out had they not done that, I may have been left in there screaming since the mirrors threw me off and I was lost... it was a 'friendly" touch....

you should visit the Atrox factory near Birmingham Al. it's a seasonal haunted house attraction and things touch you in pitch black darkness. I've been going to HHN's will be 9 yrs this year, and HHN's houses have nothing on the Atrox factory. IMO, it is 10x scarier. plus the house takes a good 30 minutes to walk through.

last year Robert Englund (Freddy Kruger) was there signing autographs, and the year before Gunner Hanson (original Leatherface was there) this year they will have Linda Blair (the exorcist) and Elvira will be there too.

it is a FANTASTIC haunted house attraction if you ever find yourself around Birmingham during the halloween season.
