Slap Bracelet Magic Band...

Hi,

I just purchased a Minnie Mouse Slap Bracelet Magic Band on ShopDisney. I got it over a regular magic band because I'm a bigger woman and regular watches don't seem to fit unless they are a stretch band. Those even get tight. It's really cute and the slap bracelet is something from my childhood. I measured with a measuring tape how long the bracelet is and it has a good length for me. I'm wondering if anyone has tried one at the resorts and parks. I'm going solo the 1st full week of December and a hoping it stays on because I can't rely on someone else to open my door to my room because I won't be with anyone else. I'm not a ride person so I will be soaking up all the Holiday things. So I don't need it for rides. I'm possibly going to use it to pay for things. Has anyone used one before and if you did how did it go with it on a daily basis.

Thank you @Lewisc . I don't have a mans sized wrist, just a little bigger than an average woman. I'm big boned like my dad was. I have his height too. He was 6'4" and I'm 6' tall. I think the slap bracelet will fit. It's on it's way right now. Boy I can't wait for December. Now I have to finish paying off my trip and get shopping for things I need that I don't already have. Thanks again.

They looked good to me - I didn’t buy one but the length of the slap bracelet looked like it would fit me or my husband just fine. If you’re worried about getting into your room, there’s an option to open the door via the app, or you can request a key card from the front desk.

Thanks @SleeplessInTO . I think I'll be good to go. I'm going to like having a Magic Band instead of a room key. I tend to forget where I put it in my bag. I hate taking everything out to find the key. The last time I went to Disney was in 1994. We stayed off property and they still had metal keys like the ones you use on a dead bolt. I like the idea of just using the Magic Band to do so many things. Thanks again.

For this specific worry, you can go to the front desk and get a key card. You can keep the key card in your bag and you know you'll have it as a back-up but won't have to actually dig it out of your bag unless you lose the Magic Band. You also can use your phone as a back-up.

I got the slap bracelet magic band. Not only is it cute it fits great with plenty of room for someone with a bigger wrist. It's comfortable and not too snug that it cuts off your circulation. I even shook my arm hard and it stayed on perfectly. I love it and it's a Minnie Mouse head with the ears and bow and the puck in the middle. Thank you to everyone who posted to me about this.
