Skype video calls on disney wifi?

Do you know if you can make skype video calls when staying at a disney hotel?

I've been some places where they have wifi but block skype. I'm just hoping someone knows what it is at Disney.

We used it last week at the Yacht Club. It kept cutting off after a few minutes so it was a pain. FaceTime lasted a little longer, but again it kept cutting off.

Wifi was terrible at okw Skype kept cutting out, slightly better at vero beach. Skype works brilliantly at AKL (Jambo house) and also manage to watch skygo using a VPN. Worth noting also that the Disney hotels have espn2 which show some premiership matches.

Skype at OKW lasts about 2 mins before drop off
I have. connected my travel wifi router to the Disney router with a LAN cable and my own wifi signal is much more stable. The EPCOT signal is excellent. I am posting this from inside Turtle Talk with Crush.

We struggled to Skype by the pool(Millers Rd) at OKW a few week ago, rubbish connection but inside the room we had no problem after I got support to reset the router.

Skype was fine at SSR and the GF but aweful at BLT. Cut out or froze every ten seconds or so.

Used it at OKW when we were there in July. Skype direct worked better than using it through Facebook. We generally had pretty good service. I think if you have problems phone up for the tech help to get assistance to reset the router.
