Skyliner Questions

1- Our fave rooms are POP 60's in the 5000's building, lake view. Will we be losing our great view? Will we be losing our Standard Room rate since the Skyliner is RIGHT there??

2- Any more rumors of when it will open? We are going the end of November this year....? It would be smart of them to have it open before Star Wars, and the Thanksgiving/Christmas before would test how well it works with a lot of people.

Star Wars is opening late next year, so even if it's not open in November of this year, they have plenty of time.

1: if your favorite location does not have a view of the bridge, the gondola would not be in or affect your view. If you can see the bridge, and spend any time either out on the walkway staring at the lake, or in your room staring at the lake with passersby inadvertently glancing in through your open curtains, then yes it will affect your view.

As for cost increases, maybe. Maybe not. Disney is purportedly moving away from [pricing] "levels", and toward geographic groupings.
