Here is what we want to do. Will it work?

Park at Hollywood Studios in the morning. (HS closes at 9pm)

Skyliner over to Epcot during the afternoon

Return to our car at HS after Epcot closes around 10:15pm (Epcot closes at 10pm)

Will the skyliner be running to HS that late since Epcot is open an hour after HS?

I know we can walk back if we have to but would like to avoid that if possible after a long day!

I don't believe there will be transportation service to a closed park.

But wouldn't there be service to the hotels between? Seems like if Epcot -> Riviera is running, wouldn't it stand to reason that Riviera -> HS is running also?

I THINK it is 2 separate lines so the line to Studios could be closed while the line to the resorts and Epcot remains open. However, if Studios doesn't actually close until 9pm that night, the skyliner out of Studios will be operating for at least an hour after to get everyone out and back to the hotels so it will probably also be operating from the hub.

It is a separate "line" to go from the transfer station at CBR to HS. I can't imagine that after they get all guests out of HS and there is no longer a line to depart via skyliner, that they'd let people get on at CBR.

There are some color coded maps online so you can see the routes/lines/stations.

Unfortunately no, it will not work. Transportation does not go 'to' a closed park. You might be okay for about an hour when guests are being taken from DHS to CBR but even that I'm not sure about.

You will definitely want to take your car with you to Epcot unless you can return to DHS via Skyliner, arriving at DHS by 9pm.

There are 3 different Skyliner lines. CBR is the hub station.

1. CBR - Pop/AoA
2. CBR - DHS
3. CBR - Riviera - Epcot

The only way to ride from Epcot to DHS is to disembark at CBR and switch to the DHS line but that line won't take guests to the park once the park has closed.

"Officially" the Skyliner DHS line runs for 1 hour after Park Close so 10:00 PM with a 9:00 PM Close.

However it "could" run for a little while past that and they most likely would let you ride from CBR Station to DHS Station to access your car,but probably not worth the risk of it still being available as late as you would be getting there-I think walking is the way to go unfortunately.

We did this last night. When we went to board the skyliner to DHS, we were just asked by a CM if our car was parked at DHS. We said yes and we’re allowed to board. Signs said the Skyliner runs until 10:30 pm.
