Can u ride the skyline from epcot to HS?
Is it easy or is taking the bus easier? I thought my small grandchild might enjoy skyliner.

Yes, You can get the Skyliner outside the International Gateway over by UK before you get to France. It goes to Caribbean Beach with a stop at Riviera ( the doors open to let people out). At CBR station go to right that’s the line to Hollywood Studios.

is there a boat from Epcot that goes to HS?
That might be easier.
Yes, there is a boat. It stops BW, YC/BC, Swan/Dolphin then HS. Both the Skyliner and the boat take about 20 min. if you get on it at Epcot. Both of those times could change depending on how long it takes the boat to dock/unload/load at each stop or how long the line is for the Skyliner at CB. Both are easy enough to do, I think the boat might be a tad less confusing. The last time I took the Skyliner just to time it, the announcements were not on so if you did not know you were stopped at RIV and shouldn't get off, you wouldn't know nor would you know you had to get off at CB to transfer. The boats can get pretty crowded depending on time of day so there is a change someone would sit in the row with you. They also might put another party on the Skyliner with you, they did the last time I rode it.

Is there a bus? Would that be easier? I need easy as possible because of the young boys and doubler stroller.

I think buses are worse with a stroller because you have to fold them up. You can roll them onto the skyliner and onto the boats. You can also walk from Hollywood studios to Epcot.

I would highly recommend either Skyliner or boat with a double stroller. Not sure if you need to fold a double stroller on the Skyliner or not? I know singles can be rolled in but at one point doubles were being folded. You can leave the stroller up to enter the boat as long as it fits through the ramp entrance.

Personally we love the Skyliner!

I agree with above that the boat will be the easiest, since you can roll the double stroller on and off. We find it a fun and relaxing ride.

I also agree that the double stroller might need to be folded to board the Skyliner - I know that was the policy (due to size of the Skyliner gondola) at the beginning, and I haven't heard that it changed. You might get a definite answer to that question on the Disney for Families forum, https://www.disboards.com/forums/disney-for-families.23/. Your grandsons would probably enjoy it as well as the boat.

The bus would leave from the front of Epcot and would definitely require folding the stroller.

Since we are getting into storm season, just be mindful that the Skyliner closes if lightning is within a certain distance and will stay closed until the storm has passed. Similar to how WDW pools operate. It is very easy to get “stuck” at the CBR transfer point if the closure happens to be while you’re in route… and getting out of that mess is not that fun. They deploy busses, but it usually takes awhile and the whole setup can be confusing for newcomers (and experienced WDW folks too). I’ve been caught a few times even when storms “looked” far away… the lightning must have been within whatever radius tolerance they use. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s not the most ideal situation either.

To add to what @GADisneyDad14 said, the boats stop running for lightening too. They’ll stay at whatever dock they’re at. You’re able to get off if you want or you can stay on the boat & wait it out.
