Sorry if this has been posted but I just got airline tickets for my family of 4 round trip from greensboro NC to St Augustine ( May of 2008) for 127.00 including fees. Yes that is the total for all of us. I thought that was great!

Yep, GSO is going to be another jumping off spot for skybus . That's great because I live in columbus, and a large part of my family are in the greensboro area

Booked yesterday for Febuary school vacation week. $10 flights from MA. to Greensboro, one night in Greensboro, then $10 flight to FL. the next day. Three people, $200 total. Can anyone from the Greensboro area recommend a reasonable hotel next to the airport that also has a shuttle service, maybe an indoor pool.

There is a Marriott within sight of the airport, with a shuttle--nice but can be pricey.

Embassy Suites is located nearby and used to have a shuttle to and from airport, but I'm not sure if they still do. I've had meetings there often and it always looks clean--I've never stayed there though. I know there are some other hotels located in the Embassy Suites area but I can't remember exact names.

Just checked and the ES does still offer free transportation to/from, and has an indoor pool. There is also a Homewood Suites in the same area as ES and a Sleep Inn. A little further down the street is a Hampton Inn, but I am not sure if it offers a shuttle.

The Marriott also has an indoor pool IMHO it was overpriced, but it's a good location!
