someone mentioned Skyauctions to me. I have looked at the site. I saw bids getting ready to close in the next few hours of $1.00 for a week's stay. I also saw it say additional fees of $195 per 2-bedroom unit. If I bid and win the auction, does that mean I got the week for $196.00 or is there more to it than that?

rwe there..yet...

that is exactly what happens....except they "tacky" on a 15$ processing fee to email you a document that most readers cannot print out ( last time we got one it was .tiff format ) ...so we usually have to call and have them FED ex the real "document".....

it seems they carry a lot of excess inventory for RCI which means you will be getting a good deal especially if the resort is gold crown....exchanging into something similar using an exchange through RCI would cost approximately 750$ due to maintenance fees/exchange fee and yearly membership fee to RCI....as long as people can do that......it does not pay to "buy" timeshare.....

If you decide to do this for Orlando, you will probably get the best deal with the ready set go auction. They are usually won for around $50, plus the $195, plus the $15. This comes to about $35 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath place.

I used them last year and will be using them again in Oct.

The downside to using them is that you can't really cancel since it is an auction.

depending on the times....ready set go is not showing too many 2 bedrooms now....but that may change as excess inventory is added.....

a couple of weeks ago ready set go was only available until sept 2003 and now it is available until may 2004
