Skyauction question- 7 night stay auctions

What happens if I "win" a 7 night villa auction but only stay 5 nights? I'm not looking for $$$ back or anything- you just get so much more for the money, even only staying 4 or 5 nights. Can skyauction or the property charge you more for leaving early? Will they even know- or care?

I don't think I've ever heard anyone being charged. Just inform the resort the dates that you will be checking in and checking out (ofcourse, this has to be within the week that you won).

I can't imagine them having a problem with it. That just means they get to clean it earlier or possibly rent it out.

I've arrived three days late with no problem. I just called ahead to warn the resort.

I have also left three days early after an 11 night stay. No problem at all.

There are no refunds for shorter stays but in my cases, it was still cheaper than getting a hotel room. Besides, I just love the jacuzzi tub, full kitchen and washer dryer in condo units. I'd choose them any time, even for shorter stays.

I have left early too - not a problem - as well as arriving late - just be sure to call the resort if you are arriving late - so they won't decide that you are a 'no show' and resell your room.

Florida law allows this if you don't call. So be sure to write down the name of the person you talked too plus the time. (just in case)
