the home and away are back on skyauction.

except they have added their fee - $195....

so no more deals.

I would bid on the place that I want - than take a chance on home & away.

of course that $100 certficiate does take some of the fees away....

Pat,
Can you please confirm that this is how RSG go works vs. H & A? With RSG, you confirm your week first and then have 24 hours to win a RSG auction .
With H & A, you have to win an auction first and then hope your week is still available on the getaway database.

I have booked and used 7 weeks now on H& A (mostly for my mom) , but now thinking that due to the added fees on this auction type, RSG may be better for me (pay a little more but book your week before bidding).

Any thoughts would be really appreciated since I feel like a RSG newbie.

Thank you

With RSG, you do not have to "hold" your resort before winning. You can win & pick your resort later. But yes, that is the difference now.. except as Spicey said.. the $100 certificate does save money if you will use it again..
I was just on looking at what they have for my time frames.. not much right now. I have a certificate that I need to use before April from my last win!

On the bottom it states in red:

Note: Reservations for both certificates must be made by August 31, 2007. Last date to begin travel is December 31, 2007.

How would that work? Usually there's no resort availability until 2 weeks out!
