Okay - I saw the warning below regarding the certificates. My original question was if I'm looking for late January early February 2009 am I already too late?? (I know it's excess inventory - so I wouldn't think they would know if they will have any yet or not...but if I'm too late I might change what I intended to do with it and book that now while it's available) and then my second question actually came up because of the other thread. My certificate I bought in December and says to use getawayweeks.com - is that wrong now??

jan had some already.

late feb had some.

looking for early feb - not yet - that I have seem.

should be looking every week and just can't.

Thanks - we are actually wanting 01/31 check in for a 2 bedroom and so far NADA every time I have looked. I'm actually considering ditching the Orlando idea and using it for Spring Break in Branson since they are currently showing availability.

I have seen you post a lot spiceycat and know you are definitely an experienced traveler in the Orlando area, and from what I have seen a pet lover. Which condos in Orlando are pet friendly? We are getting a new puppy and have a friend taking care of her our upcoming September trip, but in the future may choose to travel with her if we are driving.

We went the last week, last year, and I swear there were fewer options that week than any other. It made no sense. If you see one, I'd suggest snagging it.

I'm a little bumfuzzled why that week has no availability....I picked it because it's after the marathon and MLK weekend and before Presidents week and doesn't include a weekend that begins or ends with any of those events. So shouldn't it have MORE availability?? It just really doesn't make any sense. I'm going to keep watching for a while....but we will probably be making a decision sooner than later since every other area of the country does not have availability for Spring Break (Branson is close and easy) and I don't want to lose that week completely.

Timeshare demand does not necessarily run with park crowds. Amazingly, some people come to Central Florida just for the sun!

Celebration world resort - it won't show up on skyauction until around 3 months sometimes 2 months before you leave.

It shows up on RCI around 6 months - although some others have seem it at 10 months.

good luck getting a 2-bedroom with skyauction for this - use to even find 3-bedroom - now it is even hard to get a 1-bedroom with skyauction. but be carefully - you definitely want a full kitchen. the partial kitchen is a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa - enough room for 2 maybe 3 - but definitely crowded for 4. this is the 3rd bedroom of the three bedroom villa.

while the 1-bedroom with full kitchen is a king bed and queen sleeper sofa.

I think skyauction is getting RCI in trouble. so they definitely want to be sure no RCI members wants it - before they offer it in skyauction.

I agree. That week, however is in the middle of the time period between 3 day weekends, big for all vacations, also.

very strange in the getaways at RCI there are a bunch - but they are not listed in Orlando - but Kissimmee.

so don't why some of these aren't showing up in skyauction.

don't know if the person who designed their internet doesn't understand that Orlando and Kissimme should be the same - or doesn't care.

so definitely do not understand why.

also found the ones that were showing up in the Panhandle for feb - over there....

Touche - but vacation timing in general corresponds to crowds in the theme parks and I would think would fall around long weekends moreso than a week that falls between two opportune vacation weeks.
