Skip newer rides for motion sickness?

If anyone remembers the old body wars attraction at EPCOT, I have never been sicker after riding that. Last 2 times at AK, we skipped FoP, I don't like Star Tours and won't go on M:S but love TT and Soarin. Based on this info and we will be bringing our 6 yr old granddaughter for her first visit. Do we skip the newer rides? She's pretty adventurous but never been on a real rollercoaster so don't know how she will do but I'm not sure if the newer ones are more motion simulator rides that I should skip. Tia
