i develop dermatitis around my wrists with plastic material like watches. Does anyone know if you can still get the cards instead of wrist bands?

Alternatively, all the resort shops and park shops sell 'sleeves' for the bands in different designs in cotton. Maybe that would solve the problem? Or perhaps you have a fine jersey 'sweat band' you can put on your wrist and wear the band over that?

I found my wrist got a bit sweaty under the band: I could have got round ths by wearing it a bit looser, of course.

It's just that it's so convenient to have the band instead of a card to keep fishing out of your bag or pocket, and I hate things round my neck like lanyards and stuff.

You also don't need to wear the band on your wrist. You could stick it onto a lanyard or a bag or somewhere else that means you'll have it, but isn't against your skin.

Mine spent a lot of time looped around my bag strap rather then my wrist. And it's still easy to use it.

I tend to break out as well, but haven't had a problem with the MB.

1. Wear them loose.
2. Clean them and your skin often (it's usually the sweat and dirt that break you out not the actual plastic)
3. Take them off whenever possible to give your skin a break.

Hope you have minimal problems.
