Sketch Artists

We went to DL last year and I remember seeing an artist doing custom character sketches that you could purchase. We went back this year, and I tried to find where they were (I couldn't remember which store I saw them in). I couldn't find them anywhere. Are they still doing that, or was that a limited time thing for their 50th anniversary?

I believe that's in the watch shop on Main Street, Timepieces something or other! They sit right there in the window and sketch!

Do you mean caricatures, or more realistic chalk drawings? We saw an artist in the Court des Anges in New Orleans Square. I think s/he did realistic black/white or color chalk drawings...

You know, Alex2k, I thought of that but then I think I read it wrong. By character sketches, I thought they meant of the characters. Maybe they meant caricatures, where they make you look a little distorted. Not sure, but if that's what they meant, you are right, it's near the exit to Pirates and also in DTD!

They were sketches of Disney characters that you could have personalized. I don't remember going into the watch shop last year, but that doesn't mean I didn't. I could swear I saw them in either CA or World of Disney, but again, not sure...

In DL I can't remember where they are but know for a fact they are at DCA in the Animation Studio shop next door, they sometimes have two artists working as well as pre-drawn pieces.
