I was wondering how many ounces the quick service drinks are. I am planning on bringing the Crystal Lite packets and it says to add to 16 or 20 oz. of water. We won't be bringing bottled water, so I wanted to see if quick service water was the answer or if the cups will be too big. Thanks!

There are usually 2 sizes (medium and large, or small a medium..they don't really say size, just two price points) at each CS. I honestly don't know the OZ. I did use the CL packets myself a few times, I just asked for free ice water, and whatever cup they gave me worked just fine

Not sure of the exact size but when I took kool-aid packs with me it took about 1 and a quarter packs or so to get the taste right. We always got ice though so with less water in it that might have been why.

I have to say that even with the drink packs Florida water still tastes bad. If you can I would bring my own bottled water or buy it if you will have a car once you get there. On subsequent trips we brought in a few bottles of water and just asked for cups of ice.

Does the powder still dissolve if there's ice in the cup or does that make it harder?

It does dissolve but you have to stir it a little longer. Also they usually fill the cups right to the top so if you drink some of the water or dump some out first it is a lot easier to stir and less messy. Also if you add some a little at a time and stir vs. just dumping it all in at once it is a lot easier to get it mixed in and it does not clump all up. The ideal way to mix it would be to shake it up but of course that is not possible in a paper cup. LOL
