Size 0

American Eagle and Abercrombie are great for jeans and shorts. I usually wait for the sales, you can almost always get size 0 in the sales.

For nicer clothes, especially work-type clothes, I usually go with White House Black Market or department stores like Bloomingdales. Again, the sales make them a little less pricey!

For basic things, I actually usually just go for a size 2 and wash it on hot if I have to, but I don't mind things being a little bit big.

DD14 is a size 0 on a fat day. LOL She's a 0 or 00 depending on where we are shopping. Her favorite is Aeropostale, she also likes Delia. We also find some really great deals at Goodwill for her.....we're talking designer jeans for $5-7 a pair....

Believe me, I understand!!! I usually have luck in Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. I also agree with TJ Maxx, Ross and Marshalls. Just recently, I found a Kay Unger shift dress in XS (super tiny) for $60.

It certainly is hard to find fashionable clothing in such a small size without breaking the bank.

Check out this blog... it caters to petites

http://www.alterationsneeded.com/

She posts deals and discounts for retailers that carry petite sizes and reviews each of the pieces she purchases.

Personally, I shop in juniors stores such as Forever 21, and A'GACI. I know it's not the best quality, but hey... it fits. I've also had success at Target, especially when they release their guest designer collections.

Good Luck!!!

H & M, they have weird sizes , but a 2 there is like a 0 elsewhere, that is where i buy a lot of my 9 yrs old clothes, she wears a 0, We have the oppisite problem everything is "old for her"

The Limited is great when they have sales. Get on their mailing list and they'll send you $15 off coupons all the time. Thanks for the thread, I've been interested in finding who else carries 00 since Express has started to stink as a retailer.

I agree with "TJ Maxx, Ross and Marshalls"...not that I am anywhere near a 0, but my BFF in high school was and those stores were the only place she could find clothes to fit.

Oh and try being skinny and pregnant. I can't find any pregnancy clothes that fit. I have a belly but haven't gained weight elsewhere so all the maternity clothes just hangs off my arms and legs.

I had this problem too. I ended up just staying in my regular jeans and going up a size in normal shirts. Old Navy's tank tops were a staple of my wardrobe this summer. Now I'm actually skinnier than I was before I got pregnant and I have to go buy new clothes. Frustrating.

Delias has really great jeans. American Eagle, Aeropostle, Hollister and Abercrombie have huge selections of 0 and 00 too. Rue 21 and Forever 21 have them, but they are sized different. I think that they are the 24's there, but not sure. You will just have to check for sizing, but they for sure have them just sized different numbers. Rue 21 and Forever 21 are very cheap priced, but to be honest the pants will not hold out as long as the others from our experience. Delias is truly our fave place to buy jeans. Abecrombie had their jeans 40 percent off all denim this week and Hollister had many pairs at our malls at 29.99. Good luck!

Try Goodwill or some other thrift store; or even a consignment store; and look for Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft. I see size 0 VERY often at my Goodwill.

I just wanted to agree with a previous poster about American Eagle. I am always finding things on clearance there that I like (I am 30 as well) but I can not find my size. However, there always seem to be a ton of 00 and 0s. I always think to myself, "some 0-sized girl is going to come in here and hit the jackpot!" Hope you find stuff you like soon! :thumbsup2 Don't know if you are a fan of the show "The Office," but one of the petite girls, Angela, references buying her clothes at The American Girls Doll Store :rotfl: It doesn't matter what your size- its always frustrating when you can't find what you need!

Slight thread drift (sorry, but y'all sound clothing-wise!). I'm not a 0, but I've been trying to find shorts all summer that actually have side pockets. REAL pockets, not these silly faux things that you couldn't even tuck a penny in. Someone suggested trying the men's and those were too huge. I tried boys', but they were too narrow in the hips. (But the pockets! YOWZA, how I envy those pockets -- nice and deep!)

Anyone know any *nice,* attractive women's brands with shorts that have fairly deep pockets?:flower3:

Lands End or try any golf department. I have several pairs of shorts from Kohl's, Lee and Sonoma brands, that have pretty good pockets, not super deep but deep enough to hold my phone, keys, etc.

I agree with Ann Taylor Loft...that one's the best. Also, online there is Boden which I have bought things for the kids and for myself and everything is cute and true to size. Recently I've gotten into things from Athleta. LOVE their stuff, and also true to size.

I buy and sell a LOT of 0s on eBay. There are thousands of them up now.

Golf department -- great idea! Thanks!

I love Abercrombie jeans! They wear really well and they always have lots in size 0 to choose from!
