Nor me normally but we are collecting off airport this year and going to use DME from Orlando to DW and then collecting the day after, so for 13 days rental for a SUV fully inc package for 1 driver.. quoting only £210.00 seems a good price to me....

Seems a good price, can't find it myself. Any 13 days I enter its saying £257.
Is it direct on Sixt? what dates and collection point?

Just normal site I think Wayne..

Orlando Lake Buena Vista / Orlando Int. Airport,

Now showing £219.53.... Ford Escape, Hyundai Tucson, VW Tiguan or other SUV (IFAR)

No idea what I am doing but any 13 days I try its coming up at £257.:confused3
Can you get the same price via Quidco? 10% cashback on Sixt.

Im getting 292 for 16 days, might consider it

I am looking for 16 nights also, in July. I could have booked in the recent Holiday Autos sale at £249 but waiting for a better deal. Another sale will come along before July.

It's a good price can't get any cheaper elsewhere but sixt toll policy in Florida is expensive they charge around $37 per week so pushes there overall cost close to most the car rental firms..

Is it something you use? we always pay cash for tolls, never more than around $10 on a 2 week trip.

Mmm , maybe I'm getting confused last year we did lots of driving as we went from Miami to Orlando then onto Clearwater and back to Miami so lots of tolls, this year we are flying to MCO onto DW and doing usual Orlando Parks then down to Clearwater then back to MCO, would we get away with cash tolls Wayne ??

No need for Sun pass

On the journey that you have

Cash for Toll Booth is required ..... If you find a Toll part of the I4

Couple of tolls from MCO to WDW you can use cash for, around $1.50 each.
No tolls from WDW to Clearwater.

Cashless tolls are mainly around the Miami area.

Thanks Wayne, do you need the exact change for cash tolls ?? Never used cash option in Florida

As I pointed out in post above & confirmed by Weyneg

If you have to go through a Toll point ..... There are 3 options

A Sun Pass ...... you will not need this

B Bills or Coins FOR A Manned Toll Both

C Exact Coins for Basket ( not an easy task to through into basket )

Your Best Option is to carry some Quarters & $ bills

Did Miami - Orlando - Miami, last year and always used cash booths.
I also know someone else, who went through a SunPass exit, and never heard anything more! :rolleyes1

We used sixt in Miami airport last year, had a few problems when we got to the desk they didn't have the car size we had booked and tried to convince me she was doing us a favour by letting us have a mini van instead of a full size SUV fortunately I was aware the mini van was a lot cheaper so politely declined :) had to wait about 45 minutes for a car and was told a few lies along the way so not the best experience. Once we got the car there were no problems and no hidden extras, so if the price is right I would say go for it.
