I did not know where to post this, but here goes. Does anyone know the best days to visit Six Flags St. Louis? Or any of the Six Flags parks?
Thanks in advance.

We usually go to Six Flags a couple of times each summer (more often if we aren't taking a big vacation). We try to go Mon.- Thur. usually no big crowds or long lines (except maybe the newest ride). We avoid the weekends due to larger crowds and concerts which draw more people to the park. I think we might go Tues. next week so my kids can use some free tickets they earned at school. I noticed this week McDonalds was putting discounts coupons in the food bags if you are looking for discounts, some gas stations and stores have discount coupons too. Schnucks grocery store usually sells tickets cheaper than gate price.

Thanks much. We are driving from Memphis on 7/23 and coming back on Sunday 7/27. I kind of figured the weekend would always be crowded. I guess Thursday would be our day. I did not even think about coupons. Thanks.

Schnucks is currently selling tickets for all ages at the kids price ($24.99, I think). Also, Six Flags' waterpark (Hurricane Harbor) is included in your admission price.

Would you know if it is Schnuck's in St. Louis area only. I assume it would be. I will call the local store here. Thanks.

Hi... I am thinking since this is not really WDW theme park attractions that you might get more answers on the Community Board... so I am moving it there... Have a great day..

If you can plan ahead for next year, usually from May til about July 7, Six Flags puts alot of coupons out for buy one, get one free. You can find them in supermarkets, on coke product cans, fast food places etc. If this is an annual vacation spot for your family, check earlier on the DIS and I am sure someone here would be glad to try and track down some coupons and get them to you. My dd earns a free ticket through the reading program at school, so we went at the end of May. My dad and I took her (and youngest dd). It was cheaper for us adults to get in using a buy one get one free, than for him to get senior citizens discount.

Including his/mine and youngest dd's ticket we got out of there that day spending under $90. Just bought some drinks, but it wasn't very hot then either. I packed some snacks in my fanny pack for the kids to tide them over. Took a cooler and ate sandwiches in the car and our food was much better than 6 Flags. I've never been impressed with 6 flags food and really don't like their prices!

Anyways, we had a fun day and I'm sure you will too. Hope the lines aren't too long.

Thanks Pooh. I just talked to wife wife, and she said we had buy one get one free tickets from Wendy's. I asked her to check the expiration. Guess what, They expired the beginning of July. I guess we'll get the tickets from Schnuck's for $24.99. That is irritating. We had the ticket deal, but when we planned the trip, we did not double check the expiration dates.
Thanks

ijl, I'm live in Memphis, and they do have tickets for $24.99 in the Memphis Schnucks area. Got mines, and my kid, plus some of my kid's friends and parents are going with us too. We are going one day through the week, before school start next month. We are not planning to stay at a hotel, just leave early one morning be there when it open. I figure if we leave the park 5 in the evening, we should get back to Memphis around 9 or 10.
