So....... a friend of mine is a season ticket holder to Six Flags and she can get my son and I tickets for $14.99 each to go to the park for their Fright Fest. We would be going to the Six Flags New England location. The last time we went there was a couple years ago during the summer and I was really turned off by the experience... it was overpriced, crowded... just a big let down. I am just wondering if anyone else has attended this event and ifso what it was like.... the tickets are a good price but then you have to pay to park, expensive food/drinks, and I believe there is an extra charge for some of the attractions inside. I don't want to blow $100 and not have a good time.

TIA

I only have experience with Six Flags Great America near Chicago, but I think that they are all pretty similar. Our Six Flags has changed a lot in the past couple years for the better. This was our second year of being season passholders, and we really have found it worth it. The park is very clean and upkept, and there are things to do for the whole family, even if you don't like roller coasters. During Fright Fest, as during the summer, the crowds just depend on what day of the week you go. The weekends are more crowded. The food is still very expensive but you could always get your hands stamped and eat off-property if you want.

The decision is up to you, of course, but I don't think you'd have a bad time :)

please do your self a favor and stay home.waited one hour to ride the train just to see somebody dressed like pig man jump out and shoot a cap gun.I had more fun walking back to my car to go home . I know six flags is trying to come out of bankruptcy but come on hire at least a dozen kids and pay them minimum rage to perform a better show. This is it for me after not going for three years i thought i would try the park again bad choice on my part.Save your money and go to a movie.

We are going tomorrow to Great escape also owned by Six Flags in Lake George. We are season passholders. This will be the first time for us going to do this. My dd has a friend who went last week and she said every turn they made, someone jumped out at them. We will see tomorrow. We have gotten our moneys worth as we have been 6 or 7 times - have lost count. We will be doing the Christmas one also - not sure of when. I love New england over any of their parks I have been too. Regarding food - we bring our own and go back out to the car to eat or eat before we go in. We have purchased the bottle and will take that also as soda will be 99 cents to refill the bottle. We also purchased the annual parking pass for $10. We will probably purchase the season passes next year also.
