Has anyone every bought anything from Six Dollar Shirts? I want to get my DS a Pi-Day t-shirt but I refuse to pay $23-$26 which is what most sites were charging. I came across this site on my search.

I have not shopped from there. But for a play day shirt I would just get some from the thrift store. I hope that does not insult you.

Have not tried them but they have some funny tees - I like the every zoo is a petting zoo :) They say they print on the same brands other tee sites print (American Apparel, Gildan etc)

It is not a play day, it is Pi Day.

It can't hurt to give it a try, I say. I ordered my DH a Pi Day shirt from zazzle and it was still 12 bucks after a significant coupon, I would have ordered the 6 dollar one if I had seen it!

This thread just backfired for me budget-wise. Just spent $50! lol. But, I got Pi day shirts and May the 4th shirts for the whole family plus 2 other sones for hubby, so not too shabby ...

Personally, a pi day shirt, especially a 3.14.15 one isn't going to need to last very long. So $6 is good for me.

If it lasts long enough to wear for years, even better.

Did it say how long for shipping? Will it arrive by the 14th?

Not specifically. There is a shipping transit time map on their Web page. Seems to vary from 1-6 days depending on where in the USA you are located. It says most shipments go out within 2 days, and we are located inside their 1-2 day delivery zone, so we should be okay. Our family does something for pi day every year and I didn't order the year-specific design, so we'll enjoy the shirts anyway. ;)

I've bought from Woot, 6dollarshirts and Threadless. Threadless quality has decreased and the last shirt I got was completely off in measurements both from their site and past shirts of the same size. The quality of the shirt was thin and crappy and the printed was misaligned. I won't buy from them again. Woot can be hit or miss. The shirts they've started using post American Apparel haven't lasted as long. They also use a different printing process when you order old shirts, and it's not as good. But most of my Woot shirts have held up well. The standard shipping should be free if you're only ordering shirts. You have to read the fine print, often event/holiday shirts don't print until the sale ends and won't make it on time unless you pay the $5 for expedited shipping. It's been a few years since I ordered from 6dollar. Their shirts are junk, the screenprinting won't survive multiple washes without a few spots starting to peel, but for $6 it was fine. I bought one of their costume shirts and it was fine. I bought one with small lettering and I still wear it, it's not illegible, but it's not going to survive being a favorite, wash every week shirt. If your son is going to outgrow the shirt anyway, or you don't mind ordering another one later on, they're fine.

Yeah, paying the $5 will have the shirts here on time and give me a choice. And since they'll only be worn once a year, and the normal price for a Woot shirt is $12, it all works for me :).

What is a "May the 4th shirt"?

Thanks for this! I wanted to get a Pi day t-shirt for each of my kiddos, but was too cheap the buy the ones I saw that were over $20. I was able to get them each one PLUS bought a May the 4th t-shirt for DS's Easter basket. Shipping was steep, but bearable for now.................P
