sitting in the guest house at sanford....

hi all hope this all finds you well. im sat here in the sanford guest house lounge which is absolutly great! so much more relaxing than the regular lounge area. and it has movies etc. just figured i'd say hi before i get on the plane to jet back home.

i'll write a more detailed report of things once i get back tomorrow but for now heres a few pointers:

the crowne plaza on universal blvd was an AMAZING hotel.
all servers in perkins were miserable, dennys was far superiour.
poppeyes wasnt as good a quality as it was last time but was still good.
MIB single riders line is the BEST.
my wifes now a disney-o-holic
halloween horror nights is AMAZING

Sounds as if you had a wonderful time! I too...love Popeyes, especially the crispy strips! How was the weather in Orlando? What's the weather like in England at this time? I'll be there in two weeks (get in there on a Sunday!!)!! I'm almost as excited as when I go to WDW.

*I'll be in Disneyland tomorrow...as we only live an hour outside the park, and have AP's. We are heading there this afternoon, to stay in the C. Grand Hotel on Prop. It makes everything SO easy, although I also HIGHLY recommend the Residence Inn on Katella~! We've also stayed here many times, and the place is FABULOUS! The two-story loft suites are absolutely amazing: private shuttle every 20 minutes to DL (which is only a block away), full breakfast, tennis courts, heated pool, security officers, jacuzzis, fireplace in suite LR, ceiling fans, full kitchen...etc.! DD LOVES (actually PREFERS) this resort to any at DL (LOL).
If anyone is planning a trip here, and wants more details, feel free to ask.

wellll i know i promised some last night but after getting everything in order. and then giving out presents the prospect of work today set in so i sat down tried to relax and drank lots of wine

i dont have my notes with me in work but i can easily remember the first few days so at lunch i'll post them up in the trip reports section.

the weather in orlando was great. first 5 days were 91-ish. unseasonably hot. then it dropped to 72 ish for 2 - 3 days. then 80-85 for the rest of the trip.

weather over here at the moments cold. 0-8 degrees C. ranging from cloudy to sunny depending on where you're going.

being home is nice, being back at work isnt. seriously considering a career change at the moment. no clue what i want to change too though.

almost lunch time so i'll try and get together the first 2 or 3 days during lunch.

I know what you mean Rhys, usually a day or two after returning from WDW I'm convinced that I could work in the Rose & Crown at Epcot, or perhaps the tea shoppe.

If i didnt have financial commitments here(car student loan etc) then i'd seriously consider getting my butt over there to work. personally i'd prefer somewhere like tower of terror because im evil like that but it would be the best to be able to do that.
