Sites already booked?

I saw somewhere on here that sites are already being booked up for January 2009. How do you book when it isn't available yet online? Did we already miss our chance?

You can book a site on the phone up to 500 days out. However, I doubt they are fully booked. Fort Wilderness 'may' is scheduled to begin a massive refurb to most of the loops any day now, and as usual the schedule has slipped. I'm sure more availability will open up once they firm up the renovation schedule.

Never panic when you see posts from people saying the Fort is booked for next year. I would bet if I go online today I will be able to find availability for 2008 still.

Thanks. I was beginning to worry, but I think we'll be okay! Maybe I should call to go ahead and book though, I was just holding out to see if any perks came up, but I doubt it for January.
