Is the 1400 a good site?, i hope so, just made ressies

What a good site is ,, is up to each persons needs and wants,,,but as long as your at the Fort all sites are good !

Plus, you just reserve a "class" of site. Requesting the 1400 loop is not guaranteed, but I'm confused did you request this loop not knowing what it was like?

Tim, yup , i did, looked at map, but was just wondering if anyone elese had stayed in that loop

1400 loop is Big Bear and Little Bear. 2 loops in one. They are located close to the movies, pool and bike barn. We stayed in Big Bear last labor day and enjoyed it very much.

As was said before wherever you are at the fort you will have a great time.

I stayed in 1423 for 4th of July. I enjoyed it!! Nice central location.

We were in 1400 during Christmas 06 and did not like it. Site was way too close to the neighbors and too small for our rig. If I was put in the 1400 again I would ask to be moved.
Keep in mind that this is just an opinion, many on here love the 1400.

We camped in loop 1400 (Big Bear) this past January. Our site was the first one as you turn right into the Big Bear loop on the left #1407.

We didn't particularly like the loop because...

1. for a preferred loop, it is too far from the marina
2. it is a big loop(2 roads in one loop) and there was alot of traffic
3. comfort station too far from our campsite(not centrally located in the loop)
4. bus service was terrible(too far to walk to marina or settlement) and we waited a min. of 15 min. for every bus. (wouldn't matter if everyone has a bike or if you have a golf cart) BUT, with that being said, internal bus service is pretty crappy anywhere in the Fort! at least it was in January

Good points...

1. We had a great site(huge) with no neighbor's in the front
2. Close to the Movie and campfire
3. NOT a pet loop
4. There is a basketball goal in the loop and another game at the entrance of the loop.

Everyone has an opinion, but all agree anywhere at Disney and the Fort is the best place to be!

A co-worker just returned The Fort. He stayed in the 1400 loop, Big Bear, and loved it. He said it was very convenient for them. I can't remember the site but he said it was the back of the loop opposite the entrance.
