I know I have seen it on here a million times before, but since I just worked a 14 hr day I am being lazy forgive me. We are getting a pretty big tent, since the tent we originally bought to take down to the fort last year has a big tear in it. We had been setting it up in my parents front yard for my brother, sister and my son to sleep in lol anyway I know that the preferred, premium and full hoop up sites are mostly for rvs but have people with tents stayed on them? And if yes is it worth it to pay the extra money I was just wondering. Cant wait only 161 days yay!!!

we saw someone in a premium loop in a tent (no camper). they were fine. i believe the stuff inside the tent was able to keep the tent down in the couple storms we had. but, one day we did have to put their totes on the ends of a screen tent that started to fall when they weren't around. we tried to help them as much as we could.

I have seen tents on every type of site at FW, sometimes mutliple tents on premium sites.

Like 4mickey2 said, if there is no place to stake it down just put some heavy things in the corners inside the tent.

This is the tent that we purchased. I was just wondering if there would be an advantage to booking a full or preferred site instead of a tent camping site. I also don't wanna bother anyone if it is really meant for just rvs.

None of the sites are just for "RVs", the advantage to booking full or preferred is that the comfort stations are less busy than the ones on the partial loops. The advantage for preferred over full is location, the preferred loops are closer to the Settlement area where you would find the marina with the boat launch to MK.

the drives are deeper and wider in the premium sites. i am not sure about preferred/full. so, it may be harder to reach the dirt. the 1600 loop areas-you might be able to. i don't know which rank they are in.

Premium are all concrete where you're suppose to set up.

Preferred (100 200 300) will have some dirt/sand as will the full (1600 1700 1800 1900).

The partial will have your largest dirt/sand pad (1500 & 2000).

The only advantage like PP said to these will be less people using the comfort stations. But, I've never heard anyone complain about them being too busy.

Well I cant really decide what to do, Just from reading somethings on here The 2000 and 1500 loop sound like sometimes they can be a handful. I was also thinking it would be nice to be closer to everything especially with me just being diagnosed with diabetes and getting ready to go on a pump I would rather be closer to things. Call me lazy! lol I think the center of the tent is 14.5 and then i dont know what the three small rooms are... what to do what to do.... lol

If you opt for partial, I would request 1500. And tell them there is a medical reason for not being farther away in 2000.

i Think we have just decided to stay in whatever loop they put us in hopefully we wills have a good time regardless. Thanks for the advice
