Just taking a poll on which type of site you would book for a 38 foot RV. We would like to stay in the preferred sites but concerned about site size and parking the RV.

We have a 37' TT and we had it (briefly) in a "Preferred" and it was QUITE a challenge. So much so that we had to request a new site. With a motorhome, you might be able to swing the Preferred, but as Teamubr stated, you are moving in to Premium Terirtory.

With a mh that length, most sites shouldn't be too hard to back in - granted, there may be a few sites with posts, or other vehicles that limit you.
We've definitely seen some that length in there. Motor homes are easier to back in than longer trailers (according to hubby - have had trailers), as you need less maneuvering room.
To be on the safe side, the premium sites are not much more expensive, and a couple loops are relatively close to the Settlement area.

Our MH is same size and just for info sake most sites in 1600 x 1900 will easily accommodate a unit of that size

We have a 38 foot fifth wheel. We always request a preferred site, and especially on the outside of the loop. Trying to make the turn to back it into the inside is a lot more challenging especially if people are parked too close to the road. This year in the 1200 loop, we parked the fifth wheel near the back and the truck diagonally across the front of the site. There was plenty of room for other big rigs to get by.

We are trying the full hookup next year and requested loop 2100 only to be close to our daugher who is staying in a cabin (preferrably loop 2300). We have a 34.5' Class A motorhome and taking our chances that we will have no issues with fitting into the site. Some youtube videos have shown the loop with large units parked in it so good luck everyone in your site allocations. As someone mentioned to me, you can always call or go back to Reception and request a different site, hopefully having one in mind you like.
