I know this has probably been asked, but I'm a newbie and am overwhelmed by all the threads on here. My girls will be 4 and 18mos when we go to WDW in June. We have a sit n stand at home and that works great!! My oldest doesn't like to ride in the stroller at all. I know she'll need on in Disney. My worry is that she'll get tired and not have a place to nap, our sns doesn't have the extra seat. Has anyone taken a sns? If so, how has it worked out? Thanks.:)

We took the sns twice to Disney. Two diff. sns and both of them were dead when we got done with them. One of them actually kept losing them rubber tire off the wheel every time we crossed the trolley tracks at MK. Funny now. Not so much then. Our 4 year old enjoyed the extra ride when her legs got tired. She never ever napped when at the parks. The youngest one 2 and 3 at the time did. We would boot her out of the stroller and lower the seat for the youngest to sleep. In fact, the 4 year old now 5 walked this last time at Disney. She kept up just fine. The sns are heavy and awkward at times in the park. If you are using the buses it can be difficult to fold and then hold when riding on a packed bus. ON our last trip we went with the Maclaren and found it was very easy to hold, fold, and carry. It also held up to all Disney has to offer. Have fun!

I'll suggest renting a Baby Jogger City Mini from Orlando Stroller Rentals (there's probably an ad at the top of the page). People on here rave about the City Mini, and all of Baby Jogger's strollers. We plan to rent a City Classic from Orlando Stroller Rentals, since we don't plan on having to fold it up much (will be getting around mostly on boat and monorail). City Classics are heavier and bulkier than the City Minis.

We used two Maclarens for our kids instead of the SNS. SNS would be too bulky and harder to manuver in the parks and on the buses. It's all up to you but you can also check the Budget boards and see if there are any double stroller swaps. Yes, your four year old will need a stroller for tired kegs and down time:) Heck I wish I had a stroller while at Disney:)

We've taken our baby trend sit n stand twice, once dd 17 months and ds 6 and the other dd was 2.5 and ds 7. It worked great for us. We won't be brining it back this year because ds is just too big for it now, but it worked perfect for our first trip and pretty good for our last one. I think with the ages of your kiddos, it should work pretty well- the only thing I'd be concerned about is the comfort/sleeping ability for your 4 year old. It worked great for me when my ds was 6 (and he even found a way to fall asleep in it one night,) but I'm thinking at 4 she may get more tired and want to actually sleep in the sit n stand, and I'm not sure how that would work. That would be my only concern. For us, it was a great way to get around and have both kids "secure" when we needed to get somewhere quickly and especially at closing when it was crowded and dark.

ETA: We only used Disney transportation, so we had a lot of bus use, and it was fine for us. It's not fun to take any stroller on a bus, but I didn't find getting this one on and off much more difficult than when I brought my regular full size single stroller. It collapsed to be just a bit larger, and it was heavier, but still doable.

I have a 1 and a 4 year old and have a SnS. I love it. My DD 4 is not much of a nap taker, but her legs still can't do all the walking. It also helps when going through the crowded areas to just have her hop on, so she doesn't get run over by people. We also only use the Disney busses, and although it's a bit bulky, I think it's worth it.

Great info!! I have some time to mull it over some more but I now feel confident in the lugging it on and off buses, since others have done it. I guess now I'm just going to have to decide about DD 4's napping habits. Thanks for the info. I would love to hear other opinions, too.

We have an almost-4-year-old and a 14 month old. We are not bringing our SNS with us because our older DD won't be able to sit back to rest or nap. We will have long days & some late nights & she'll need it. We bought a Maclaren Twin Triumph- wish I bought it last year instead of the SNS. I hate how bulky & heavy the SNS is to carry & move. It's a monster. The Maclaren is much lighter & smaller.
